誰にでも負けてみせる

相手が二木だという事で点を取るのはムズカしいとは思っていたが。しかし仮にもプロ野球選手である。なので前回、前々回の反省を生かして、せめて数人程度は何らかの対策で二木を打ってくれるだろうと思ったら一人だけだった、という事実。ハッキリ言って苦手な投手に何の対応もできず毎回やられるというのは既にプロ選手とは言えない。

本来、こういったチームが最下位でファンに最悪の試合ばかり見せてしまう責任というものは監督が負うものであり、監督は解任された。そこで今度は監督代行に批判がいくと思えば違って、最終的にはプレイしている選手にヘイトが集まるのである。ま、実際試合しているのは選手たちなんで当然と言えば当然なのだが。
ま、今年のシーズン終了後にはかなりの選手が静粛されて消えていくわけだ。なので、来期は余計な選手が大量に解雇された分、良い選手が多く入ることを期待したい。

茂木が抹消になった。打撲だけだというが信用ならない。茂木はエラーがあれだけど、打力から言えば去年よりは落ちているとはいえ、銀二、今江、ウィーラーに次ぐ成績を残している。それでも抹消ということは大分状況がよくないのだろう。「調整かねて」なんてのんきな事ならとっくの昔に調整させていただろうし。
代わりにあがってきたのは村林という三好タイプ要員。守備はできるがまず打てない。これだったら昨日のファーム巨人戦できた球をすべて逆方向へのゴロにして足で出塁すること、に賭けている山崎の方がよかったように思えた。

ディクソンが落ちたのはネコでも理解できる理屈だが代わりにペゲーロが昇格したのにはあきれた。昨日の巨人戦で二軍のピッチャーにすらお決まりの攻め方をされていて、三振、ピッチャーゴロなど、何も変わっていなかったからだ。逆にフェルナンドはライトへの同点タイムリー。満塁から強い当たりで抜けようかというレフトライナー犠打。誰がどう見てもペゲーロよりフェルナンドだったろうが、これは初めから「とにかくペゲーロな」という指示がどっからか出てたんだろう。だってこの分だと、ディクソン、ペゲーロは解雇だから連れてきた人の立場が悪くなるんだろうから。

そして大ブレーキなのがウィーラー。打順は下がったけど９番だって邪魔なくらいだ。
暑くなるとウィーラーは打ち出す、という迷信のようなものに期待をし続けてきたわけだが一向に打たない。これは単純に相手チームに弱点を攻略されていると、見るべきであろう。
外国人選手には早い段階からデータで弱点を探ってそこを責めるのが定番だ。当然そういった攻略法に工夫して対応していくからこそ二年目からも活躍できるわけである。
それができなかった典型的な例がペゲーロ。
アマダーは外のスライダーを追って空振りするという事でそこばかり責められたが「振らないで見逃す」という対応で成功だった。しかしペゲーロの弱点は真ん中のストレートも含まれるので見逃すわけにもいかないから今のペゲーロになったのだと思う。
ウィーラーの弱点がどこかははっきりわからないがインコース厳しいところ中心で外に逃げる球多投、というように見える、特に外は長打にはならないしね。
これを打てるようにならないとウィーラーも厳しい。３年契約だから来年も身分は安台だろうけど巨人のように二軍に幽閉していてもかまわないわけだから。ことしみたいに「せっかく高い金出して雇ってんだから一軍でやらせよう」なんて未練がましく起用していると今年の春と同じことになるのだ。二軍で３０本ホームランでも打たない限りは二軍で来期は終えてもらうのがよいのでは。

そして、今日も最後の希望が残る場面で予想通りのゲッツーを見せてくれた今江先輩である。打点はチームトップだとか「よくやってる」とか「足のけがをかかえているわりには打っている」とか言われているが、まずケガして満足なパフォーマンスができない人はプロスポーツしちゃいけないのである。ケガを直すのが先。打点がどうこう言われているが比較すると

多いかもなあ、と思っていた今江のゲッツーはリーグ２位なんだよね。しかも１位と３位のメンバー。対活躍の人たち。ホームラン数は今江の倍以上。打点だって倍以上なのだ。ゲッツーは打点王になるくらいの強打者の少ない打ち損じの結果であって打点４０そこそこしか取れない中途半端バッターでは免罪符にはならないのだ。しかも今江はゲッツーを避けるために右打ちしたりはしない。ほぼ本能のまま引っ張ってショートめがけて打っているのである。
まあ、ロッテファンに聞いてきたいものだが、ロッテ時代の今江はゲッツーはあるけれど、それ以上にバンバン売って点を取ってくれるチーム内の神様のような存在だったんすかねえ？

そしてここままの成績でも来期はサードレギュラーの筆頭にくるんですかねえ。

今日の二木や不調の武田のコテンパンにやられたように、各チームのルーキーや再生を賭ける投手に歯が立たなかったように、楽天の打線はNPBレベルでは格下過ぎることはもう証明されちゃってるわけです。
西巻とか田中とか未来に期待できる選手は別としても３０過ぎた人たちは、言い方悪いけれど追い出して新しい布陣を作っていこうという強い動きがあってしかるべきではないでしょうか。
無論、銀二を来期戦力外にせよ、というのではなく。銀二は代打要員でスタメンにはしない、というレベルで。ＦＡで集めるというてもあります。

ペゲーロ、アマダー、ディクソン、今江、銀二らを放出すれば４億ちかくできるので、それで浅村を呼んでくるとか。ま、西武は母体の不調で清原がいたころとは大違いで待遇が悪くなり、菊池雄星ですらようやくポスティングを許すかどうか。牧田ですらポスティングを延々と伸ばされたという事実があるので誰もがあまりいたい球団じゃないのではと思うのです。
しかし一方で楽天に入った投手は自責ゼロでも勝ちがつかない試合は増え「損する球団」というイメージもあるでしょう。

明日はボルシンガーでっせ！二木を打てない打線がボルシンガーうてるかどうかは見もの。特に首脳陣が自信をもって昇格させたペゲーロがどれだけ打てるのかが見ものですね。
普通なら昇格させたペゲーロの打撃のひどさに「あ、これダメなやつじゃね？」と気づいて即座位に抹消、まだましなフェルナンドでもあげるでしょうが。「上げてすぐ落とすのはペゲーロのメンツが立たないだろうから、このカードは起用して」とかヌルイこと考えてそうですね。

ま、明日も満員御礼なのでしょうが、それ以外にもテレビやラジオで試合を見ている人はもっとっもっと多いわけです。簡単に「東北に勇気を」とか言ってますが、どうやってファンを不快にさせない試合を見せてくれるのか楽しみではあります。ただし勝つことだけでなく負けたってファンが満足する負け方ってあると思うので。お手並み拝見ですね。
それとも平石さんに期待するのが間違ってんのかな。
