3.5ゲーム差だもんなあ

今日のスタメンは決して捨て試合という訳ではなかったと思います。中５で岸を投入しているわけだし。レギュラークラスの右を並べても左を並べても内田を入れてもダメなら今まで出てないメンバーで挑むしかないという判断ではないかと。田中まで入れてきたのには驚きましたが菊池からけっこう打っている島内は昨日途中で交代したくらいなので具合が悪かったのかも。
中川のタイムリー２ベースですぐに１点を返した時はいけそうな感じもしたんだけど。空振りしがちな高めのストレートをはじき返して打球も伸びました。
しかし見どころはここだけ。
源田のありえないミスで１アウト１、３塁になるもウィーラーがよりによってピッチャーゴロ。ゴロゴーだったので中川が挟まれたのはしかたないでしょう。ところがウィーラーがセカンドに走らないという大失策。
菊池だって神様じゃないんだから四球だって出します。足立のヒットから西田のナイスバント、選ばない男オコエが何とか四球を選んで満塁。しかも１アウト。ヒットなしで点を取れる場面。銀次はよりによってゲッツー。打てないなら三振すればいいのになあ。ランナーが足立で満塁でもスクイズしたほうがエラーが出たかもしれないし。
ま、バントダメだからという理由なんでしょうけど銀次もウィーラーも打てないくせにバントもできないからなあ。いったい何ならできるバッターなのか。バントと言えば西武はかなり打っている源田や外崎もセイフティバントをどんどんしてくる。
しかし田中なんかボールにかすりもしないのにフルスイングばっかりだもん。方向性はかまわないけど「今の役割は塁に出る事だから」と言い聞かせてバント練習くらいさせないものかね。

本日起用された1.5軍メンバーはそこそこ頑張ったとは思います。皮肉なことにメンバー総取り換えしても「この二人は別格だよ！」と残した銀次とウィーラーが「いない方がマシ」という結果でした。

しかしこれも開幕前から分かっていたことなんでしょう。去年と戦力はほぼ変わっていないわけで、だからこそ外国人野手３人体制で全員が大活躍してくれなければお終い、という予想はしていたでしょう。ルーキーへの期待も根拠なくあったでしょうが田中はこの状態。当てにしてなかったオコエが出てこなければ年間通して島内、聖沢、岡島が外野のベストメンバーだったわけで他の１１球団に比べて見劣りするもんなあ。

これからは中川が良い時にウィーラーやアマダーの代わりに起用して３外国人が突然に復調するのを待つしかないという事ですね。菊池はCSでも必ず当たるでしょうけど岸か則本を投入して完封したうえで西武にエラーがでるのを願うしか勝つ道はないでしょう。能力に劣るバッターが急に打てるわけがないですな。こういうのを見ていると監督やコーチを代えるなんて何の役にも立たない気がします。中堅以上の野手は全員交換する気でドラフトと補強をしなければならないでしょう。それができなかったから外国人頼りなんですね、きっと。
かなり進退が極まった状態に追い込まれて気迫を感じる中川が活躍して来期も在籍できればいいなと思います。ただ例によって「菊池用でした」と起用されなくなったりして。

もう２位は諦めてCSへの調整で順番にファームへ行けばいいと思います。調子を上げて菊池で１敗、他に２勝すればいいいのだ！３位だったくせに！って言われるけどポストシーズンで一試合でも多く見られれば去年よりはずっと楽しいはずですからね！
