育成はわかったけど、なら何で高梨

西口のピッチングは初回こそ「早いけど棒球？」と思ったが村林の好プレイで落ち着いた感じ、村林は獲るのはともかく、あの体制で投げられる肩は魅力である。打てないから三好とのポジション争いですかね。
西口は今の楽天先発の中ではけっこう早いストレートでフライアウトを多くとるようになった。思ったより打者は早く感じてたのかも。７回２安打無失点は見事としか言いようがなく普通なら余裕を持ってセットアッパー、クローザーとつないで終わりのはず。
しかし、ここが育成という考えか８回も続投。確かに球数すくないし、もし完封でもすれば彼の財産になるから８回も投げさせるのはわかる。
ただ同点にされて１ヒットですぐ代えるのは何故か？逆転されているわけでもないのだから、こういうピンチを自力で抑えさせるのも育成なんじゃないの？
育成中心で勝ち負けは気にしないといったようなオーダーなのに急に青山。そして次の回は高梨。しかし高梨が打たれても１点差では代えず右打者が続くのに続投させて２失点まで見ている始末。
勝ちに行くなら高梨がランナー出して右バッターのところでスイッチだし、最悪でも失点したら交代であるはず。逆に育成だから勝たなくてよい、のなら高梨を出す意味がない。高梨はもう育成する段階ではなく立派な一軍の左キラーなのだし、登板数を見ても今期はお役御免でファームに行かせてもよいくらいではないか。
育成と勝利が中途半端なのだろう、首脳陣の中では。規定打席の都合で今江や銀二を出しているのかもしれないが、ベテラン組は来期からの練習や調整が大事なのであって、今、試合に出て実績を残したって仕方ないと思うのだが。
ともかく同点のシーンで勝ち越し打を打たれても西口を投げさせた方が、それこそ育成になっただろうし、リリーフでも森とか小野とかにまかせればよかったと思う。「育成のための」と言っている試合で登板過多の青山、高梨を投げさせるのは何か納得いかないなあ。
むろん、我々ファンは本来球団内の仕事である育成を金を払ってみる義務はないから、せめて球場のファンには勝つ試合を見せてほしいとも思う。しかし少しでもそういう気持ちがあるなら、いつどのように調子を崩すかわからない新人は７回で儲けもの、として８回から普通の継投に入ると思うんだけど。
それなら育成で新人を起用し、勝てそうなところでレギュラークラスのリリーフ起用という事で納得できるのだが。何もかも後手後手で青山、高梨まで出して負けたという無様さは首脳陣の大失敗ではないかと思う。

渡辺直人が、また最終回に代打で出て、今日は初球ファウルフライであっさり１アウト。毎回出てくるという事から考えて発表はしていないが引退宣言をあすあたりにしそうな気配を感じるのだが気のせいだろうか。そういうことであれば、もう勝っても何もないわけだから毎試合代打で出てくるのもわかる気がするが。
