菊池は踏みとどまり、森原は崖っぷち

あいかわらずランナーを出すと鷹の目どころがウサギの目になってしまう菊池だがストレートを多め位にしたことで何とか乗り切れた。菊池はリリーフの場合、連投ができないので常時プルペンいれてはおけない。要は先発としてダメなら場所がないので別なチームに行ってもらおうというテスト登板だったように見えた。今回ので諸手をあがてではないが、もう一回くらいテストしてもらえるのではないか。

そして、高梨はよしとして抑えで出てきたのは安定している青山でなく森原。これもテストの一環ではないか。前回西武戦で大失敗したが、松井が先発へ移動することでクローザーはハーマンのみでは無理。多分３連投したら影響出るだろうし。なのでダブルストッパー構想を試したのだと思う。だって楽天のリリーフはのきなみ１５０ｋ投げられる人いないからね。ソンですら１４７ｋと球威はダウンしている。
ましてや森原の場合ランナーを出すとセットポジションで球威が極端に落ちるのでスライダーに頼るしかなくなる傾向がある。で、スライダーがまた楽な変化で真ん中にくるんだよね。ちなみにフォークはストレートが良くないと振ってもらえない感じ。ピンチになった時のフィールディングも自分を助けないし、何よりランナーを出すと腕が縮みこんでしまう。ま、ストッパー不適格とわかっただけでもいんですかね。６回とか７回とか頭から行って、ランナーを一人も出さない投げ方ならいいかもしれない。無論、今日はあとアウト一つの場面でまたしても山崎のエラーという不運もあったけど。待って取れる打球ではなかったが、内田、三好。村林なら早い送球でアウトにできただろう。セカンド専門の山崎にショートをやらせたのは来期の布陣のためのテストだろうが、山崎は肩が弱いので今日のような「腕だけ」で投げる場合に山なりの弱い送球しかできないということが分かったからよかったのではないかしら。

明日は則本。ということは捕手は嶋だろうか。則本相手に堀内がどういうリードをするかもたのしみなんだが。嶋は誰が考えても来期も主力なんだから、この時期に試合に出す意味がわからないけどねえ。
渡辺も代打で出てきて三球三振。つかこの人、嶋と同じで四球狙いなのかよい球が来てもひたすら立っているだけ。制球の悪い外国人投手になら効果はあるけど、多くはポンポンとストレイク投げられて０－２と追い込まれ三振か凡打。出塁率は300.と代打として役にたっていないのだけどね。

ま、同点にされても森原を代えず、一点勝ち越されても代えず、２点勝ち越されてようやく代えた、というのは森原に危機を乗り越えさせてクローザーに育てたかったから。つまり勝ち負けはどうでもよく、選手の育成がメインだったから、なのだろう。
ただ、球場に見に行く人は育成も大事だが、それをやったうえで勝ってくれよ、と思って高い金を出しているわけでファンをまるで無視した采配は最低だと言えるだろう。
