３連勝

ペゲーロがインタビューで「初めての３連勝」と言っていたので、そうだな、と思ったら一度はあったみたい。

今日も古川は決め球がなく球数を要して５回がやっと。課題は解決できていなかった。ボール先行で２－０になることが多く、ストライクを入れようとすると強い球が投げられないのか１４４ｋ程度。井上との勝負では１４８ｋで攻めたがストレートもフォークもことごとくカットされて四球。次の打席ではセンター前タイムリーを打たれた。しかし、昨日良いとは言えなかった美馬が肘の故障で離脱するようだからローテから抜くわけにはいなかいだろう。初回からストレート全開で行けるところまで…という感じしかないのではないか。

昨日と今日、投手が今一だったのに何とかなったのは守備のおかげでもある。昨日ー今江も銀次も打つほうはパッとしなかったが今江は三塁線の当たりを二回も好捕、銀次も一塁線の当たりを好捕して得点させなかった。逆にロッテの内野は乱れてばかりだったのでこの差で勝てたとも言える。
藤田も打撃のほうはパッとしないが、今日のセカンド後方のフライをスーパーキャッチしたプレイがなければ２点差になっていたし、満塁の場面では誰もが手を出しそうなボールを２ストライクまで我慢して押し出し４球をもぎ取った。こういうのを見ると打撃がイマイチでも勝ちに貢献するなら彼らがレギュラーでも納得はできるなあ。

それに比べて茂木はいい加減休ませてやったらどうなんだろう。打てないしエラーするし、バントも失敗となれば本人だってベンチに居ずらいのではないか。首脳陣としてはオールスター休みもあったので休養と調整はできた、という判断なんだろうけど２週間とかさ。３位争い真っただ中、というわけじゃないし。そのくらい三好に代えたって打てないという点では変わらないわけだし、むしろ守備が良くなる分、チーム力が上がるんじゃないか。で、８月の第２週くらいからスタメンにするとかじゃダメなんすかね。

梨田さん時代にはなかった采配として、投手を早めにスパッと代える、という傾向があるようです。則本は訳ありだったようだけど美馬も古川も「勝ち投手」にこだわらずパッと代える感じ。その分、負担は中継ぎに。しかも負けてはいなかったので勝ち継投を使うことに。

どうも勝ち継投を今は松井、青山、ハーマンと考えているようでソンはやや格がさがった感じかな。西宮は今日も悪かった。四球連発で押し出しすら出しそうな気配。藤田のスーパープレイがなければ失点してたもんね。５年もやっていて「ストライクが入らない」という投球を繰り返しているってのは、もう治らないという事なんじゃないのだろうか？森君と同じ匂いがするような気がする。

とはいっても、今日二軍戦の楽天ＶＳ日ハム戦を録画で放映していたが二軍でも期待できそうな人はいない感じ。岩見や内田は三振ばかりで打率は落ちるばかり。今野は２失点と打たれて一軍復帰はまだまだ先のようだ。ウィーラーはサード守備もやっているので指は良いのだろうが右安一本だけと打撃が上がっていない。サード専門が今江だけな今は早く復帰して欲しいところだが、あの打撃では以前より悪くなりそうではある。浜矢に至っては３軍でしか投げていないようだし、オコエは二軍復帰一試合目にマルチヒットを打ったが、その後は二軍、三軍戦とも不出場、またケガが悪化したのかも。西巻や八百板らも変わらぬ様子でとても一軍で大活躍するとも思えない。

ということは今現在いる一軍メンバーにそのうちウィーラーを加えるだけの面々が残りシーズンの主力と考えなければいけないということだろうか。

でアレば茂木は休養の後で復調した状態で戻っもらい外国人野手３人も中軸にはいってもらう、という去年のようなパターンを目指さなければいけないのではないか。幸い、嶋がこのところ６試合で８安打と好調で一番に回せているので１、２番がカギになりそう。そうなると田中はともかく茂木がアレなので２番に今江を持ってくるとか、打てる人を配置してもらいたいもんだ。
