天気の読みが甘かったか

島内が近ごろ良い。と言っても打っているのではなく四球を選んで出塁する率がかなり高い。なので打点は上げていないのだが４番につなぐという仕事は十分すぎるほどできている。ただ４番の今江は、すっかり当たりのない元の今江に戻ってしまっているけれど。

今日はアマダーが大ファウルから外角低めに沈むカーブを無理やり引っ張って最前列に入るホームランを打ったところから反撃は始まった。そして島内の３ランで一挙にこの回5点。

この５点で楽天は多分降雨ノーゲームになる前に早く試合成立をさせることを狙ったのではないかと思われる。天気予報では時間が経つにつれて雨が酷くなるのはわかっていただろうし、それを知っていながら中止にしなかったのは楽天球団の判断であろう。ただゲームが始まれば判断は審判。どっちのチームも早く点とったら、なるべくはやく規定イニングを終えてコールドで勝ちたかったはず。当然早い回に５－１とリードを広げた楽天は早く５回まで終わらせたい。
さすがにいつかの楽天がやったような「松井稼頭央まったく見当違いの空振り三振をする」というのは見かけなかったが雨が一層つよくなった４回裏の攻撃にはそれが見えた気がする。
あからさまにアウトになろうというのではなく、じっくりボールを見たりしないで勝負を早く仕掛けるという感じ。５回の表の相手の攻撃さえ終われば試合成立だからいつコールドになってもいい。

ところが、このころからやや雨が小降りになってきたのが予想外だったのではないか。
則元がよりによって西田に２ランを打たれて１点差になった時点ではコールドにするほどの雨ではなくなっており楽天は逆にピンチになってしまった。こうなるのなら３、４、５回でじっくり時間をかけて点を取っておくべきだったのである。
やっと７回に銀次のタイムリーで追加点を挙げたものの、今のリリーフでは安全圏ではない。
事実、自信満々で出したソンが柳田にホームランを浴びて１点差。尚もマツダにヒットを打たれて同点の可能性もあった。守備固めで入っていた三好が好プレイでアウトにしたから助かったようなもの。

ソンはここ３試合でいずれも失点、被ホームラン２と普通なら一軍に居られない実績。久保や小野など実績を残せない選手をいつまで置いておくのだろう。ま、二軍では藤平も打たれているようだし安楽が完封したらしいけれど中継ぎじゃない。ほかにはいないってことなのかもしれない。ソンの投球だとまた西武打線には全く通用しないのではないかと思えてくる。


打順とスタメンも一切変えない、という方針らしいけど限度があるんじゃね？とか。今江は当時最も打率が良い＝一番ヒットを打つ、という意味で４番だろうけれど状態は完全に下がってきた。ボール球に手を出して凡退するという昔のよくないパターンに。もともと４番打者のタイプじゃないのに仕方なく作った４番なんだから、こだわらないで動かせばよいと思うけど。

藤田にしても、もうたまにしか打たない状態　守備固めならともかく不動の７番セカンドと決めつけるほど良い成績はだしていないだろう。
スタメンでも出せず守備固めにも力不足な山崎は代打でも出さないなら出す機会ないのでは？代走は島井もいるわけだし置いておく意味があるのだろうか？

そして岡島。第三捕手としても、ここまで出さないのなら本職の山下を第三捕手で入れたらよいのではないか？山下はファームで、ほぼ毎試合複数安打で打率は320.を超えている。代打でも使えるしファースト、サードもやっている。仮に成績は無関係だが岡島を毎日使い倒して重宝している、というのなら話は別だがライトの守備固めだけだったら島井でいいじゃないの。
一回だって「役に立ったこと」ないんだから岡島第三捕手構想は「間違ってました」と言ってやめたほうがいいんじゃないすかね。
ま、しかし、藤田があまり好調じゃないと銀二セカンド、舛田ファーストとかしたくなる。梨田さんの時はよくやっていたが、平石さんは銀次セカンドは嫌なんだろう。そのへんはけっこう頑なであるのかもしれない。


明日は塩見と菊池
菊池をまた炎上させるほど打てるのかは不明だし、塩見が前回と同じような投球をできる可能性はかなり低いだろう。ま、なんか中止の可能性が高いようだけど。
