さて、問題は西宮が四球を出してピンチになりソンを出す、といった前倒し起用で回マタギが多くなってしまったことだろう。特にソンは森を抑えた時も１５３ｋの速球をレフトフェンスまで飛ばされている、島内がジャンプして取ったが「ヒット扱い」でもよいところである。そうしたストレートを西武打線に読まれている投手を９回裏にも回マタギさせなければいけなかった投手事情が問題ではないか。
ハーマンを出せば裏の回でハーマン回マタギか、小野、久保の登板しかない。多分１２回までいくことを考慮して久保、小野、ハーマンで１２回までの予定だったのだろう。
しかし敗戦処理とは言え、延長の時は重要な場面をまかされる。ココ数試合、まったくよくなく失点を続けてい居たこの二人をブルペンに入れている時点でなんか油断というか、なめているような印象を受けるのである。

選手の入れ替えはないようだが明日は千賀と古川。
千賀は今シーズンかなり打ったが、直前の５月の対戦は１点しか取れなかった。前回には田中はいなかったし、長打が打てる舛田をスタメンにするという方法もある。中休みが一日あるのでリリーフ総動員で二勝してもらいたい、というのが本音だ。
