ウィーラーデーやってる場合か

まずは昨日の試合から。

ウィーラーデーというのはチームに良くも悪くも影響があったんだろうか。
チームの都合なんか一切考えずに球場内をウィーラー一色にしよう、という試みは場合によっては雰囲気を悪くするだろう。その選手が大活躍していれば別だが、現在の楽天では選手デーをやっても気まずい状態になるのは明らかだ。むろん、これは球団の営業行為なのでチームには関係なく行われる。

しかし事前に「今日はウィーラーデーだからウィーラースタメンで出してよ」という強い要請はあったと考えるべきだろう。確かに前日はノーヒットだっただその前はマルチヒット、出てもおかしくない。しかし前々日にタイムリー含む２安打のあとスタメンを外れた内田もいたので両方は出せなかったのだろう。
しかし監督は敢えてウィーラーを出さなかったような気もするのである。スタメンじゃないなら代打でも必ず出すようにと強く言われてたことはまず確実だと思うが、代打での出し方が不自然極まりない物だったからだ。
６回に銀次のタイムリーが出て１点差。打ってない内田なんだしサードのポジションも同じなのでここで代打ウィーラーでもよかった。しかし内田の打撃に賭けたのかここは打たせる。
そして内田三振の後に２アウトで八百板に代打ウィーラーを出したのだ。
これは誰が考えてもえええ？となる。
だって次は嶋なんである。
どんな戦略が下手なチームだって一発があるウィーラーは歩かせて１割バッターの嶋と勝負しよ！となるじゃないの。逆に楽天から「嶋は打てませんのでウィーラーを敬遠して無失点に抑えてくださいね！」とメッセージ送っているようなもんだよ。そしてレフトの八百板を下げて内田は下げないのであれば、当然ウィーラーには岡島が代走で送られる。
つまり初めからウィーラーは打席に立たずに一塁まで歩いて、そのままベンチに戻るのが決まっていたと言えるのだ。
これは、監督（首脳陣）から「ウィーラーデー」などど小金儲け優先でチームの立て直しに無関心な球団側への抗議のようなものではないかと思ったのだ。

ま、後はまたしても勝敗にかかわるエラーをした茂木のメンタルが心配。今は打って返すということもできず打つ方でも戦犯と言われかねない状態。
これがあるから茂木と言い、岡島と言い、調子が悪いけど絶対スタメンという選手は個人的にはかなり凹んだままではないかと思う。しかし、こればかりは二軍と言う目立たずゆっくりできるところに行かない限り日々勝負の結果が出る毎日だから、このメンタルで「調子を上げる」というのは難しいだろうなあ。
ところで塩見が抹消。ローテ外す気だったら前回投げてすぐ抹消のはずだから、急に腰でも痛くなったんだろうか。古川は池田のかわりなので元々の塩見の枠は藤平。藤平は二軍でけっこう打たれていたし誰になるんでしょうか。森はこの間、田中の超美技がなければ失点してたしねえ。
