あまりに酷い負け方
藤平の交代の時に佐藤コーチが梨田監督に何かを言ってマウンドへ。その後、梨田監督は一度「やっぱり続投」のような態度を見せて迷ってから交代を告げたというシーンがあった。解説ではベンチが迷走している、と言ったいたが、実はこういうケースが多かったのかもしれないと思った。つまり梨田さんは自分の構想を変更することを極端に嫌うのではないかと。
例えば岡島のスタメン起用もキャンプ時に思いついた「捕手兼任によって捕手二人体制」という構想を絶対に変えたくなかったからではないか。岡島がベンチスタートでは捕手三人とあまり代わりがないので不調でもスタメンにせざるを得なかったとか。
今日の９失点藤平を続投させようとしたのも「打たれても５回は投げさせる」と決めていたからではないだろうか。今の打線なら６失点でもほぼ負けに近い。しかし３回で降板させなかった。解説では「投手がいない」と言っていたが確かに誰もいなかった。菅原は昨日５０球以上投げた上四球連発の不調。ところが予備の投手を今回も登録していない。打たれても、負けても、引っ張ると決めていたのではないのか。そもそも故障や危険球退場で１回に降板の可能性もあるわけだから戸村的な投手をどのチームでも一人はいれておくものじゃないのだろうか。
こうなるとフェルナンドや内田の昇格や起用もコーチ陣の勧めによって仕方なくやってるんじゃないかと思えてくる。島内や岡島、３外国人、銀次、今江、茂木、嶋以外は余程でなければ使いたくないのかと。コーチ陣の意見も完全に無視はできないから左の時はフェルナンドを起用するが我慢できなくて２打席で代えちゃったり。だって９点差でフェルナンドに代打渡辺を送って何がどうなると言うのか。
島井の起用も去年から支配下にしていた事から、機動力野球の中心として代走専門選手を作る事を構想していたのだと思う。島井か機能しない（とは言え失敗は二度、機会そのものが少ない）けれどもこだわりを捨てきれないような。
もちろん、監督として有効な構想を実行しようとすることは当然の事であり、信念を貫くのも大事であるとは思う。実現できたチームは勝ち続けているだけで当たるかどうかがわからないのがプロ野球監督だから間違っているとは言えないのだろう。
ただ、予想外の結果が出ている時に何も対応しないという点では危機管理能力が不足しているのではないだろうか。
構想以外の選手起用についてもコーチ陣とうまくいってないようにも見えてしまう。本当は梨田さんが呼んだと言われている池山コーチ、与田コーチと合うのではないか。先日のコーチ入れ替えは監督も話に参加したそうだがマキシ、栗原コーチで妥協したという事なんだろうか？
とは言え、これは全部、個人の想像のお話。なんとなく試合中のベンチを見ていてそう思ったというだけの事だ。
来週からも試合は続くわけだけれど、調子を上げるとすればもう外国人トリオの復調以外ないのかと。銀次や今江が３割打ったくらいじゃ単打ばかりだから点は入らない。従って今日のようにアマダーをさげて内田を起用するのは反対だ。相手が右だからと言って藤田をつかうのではなく内田７今江３くらいが良いような気がする。なんとなく。
