投手も打線も崩壊終戦

まず問題なのは１回の茂木ヒットからの送りバントだ。いや、確かに送りバントは失敗することもある。だから捕手前に転がしてしまったことは仕方ないのだ。しかし、最低でも自分はアウトにされないでランナーとして残らなければいけない。つまり送りバントゲッツーが最もダメなのである。なのに渡辺はバントした瞬間にファウルかフェアか確認するために一度立ち止まってから走り出した。あれをしないですぐに全力疾走していたらセーフだった可能性もある。
どうしてファウルだと走らないのだ？ファウルの時に本気で走るのはダメ！という暗黙の掟があるのだろうか？コーチが「ファウルじゃ走るだけ無駄だから立ち止まって確認してから走れよ！」とでも言っているのだろうか？
これとまったく同じことが八百板の送りバントでもあった。八百板も一瞬立ったまま打球の行方を見てから走り出してダブルプレー。
ファウルかどうかは審判が決める事なんだから、とりあえず全力で走って「ファウル、ファウル、戻って」と審判に諭されて戻るのが恥ずかしいことなんだろうか？
嶋もサードゴロで打席でたったままアウトになった。足に当たったからファウルだとアピールしたようだがＶＴＲでは当たっていない。つか走ってからアピールしろよ！と思う。みんなまともにヒットも打てないくせに「何とか塁に出よう」という意欲すらもってないだもんね。

しかし予想通りのペゲーロスタメン。菊池のスライダーに悉く空振り。何にも変わってないじゃないの！小石からホームラン打ったからってヨシ！ではない。小石のスライダーは菊池と違って落ちないで横に流れる上、高めの真ん中に入って来るタイプだ。あれなら茂木も簡単に打ったように厳しい球ではない。明日の多和田には高めストレートとフォークで三振させられる事は目に見えている。
しかし。しかしペゲーロにこだわる理由も、ずっとブレーキにしかなっていないウィーラーの中軸にこだわる理由も何かわかる気がする。替えがいない、ということだろう。ペゲーロに代わって一時的に活躍する選手は出るかもしれないがホームラン２６本うてる人はいないだろう。要は外国人３人が好調なら戦えますよ！という前提条件の上に成り立っているチームなので、外国人を諦めることはシーズンを諦める、という事なんだと思う。だから外国人や一部のレギュラーはどんなに悪くても起用せざるを得ないのではないか。

その良い例が島内の離脱。センターは島内が不振でもオコエ、田中がいると思われてきたが田中もオコエもあの有様。島井はもちろん代走だけのつもりだったのだろうし八百板もセンターで起用する意思はなかったはずだ。
何といっても島内が抜けた翌日から今日までセンターポジションに入った選手はヒットどころか一度も出塁していなのである。（厳密には八百板の死球のみ）
となると３外国人のポジションは「たまにヒット打つ」というものではなくホームラン２０本くらいを要求されるポジションなので今の日本人には代わってできる選手がいない、という事になるのではないか。となれば、今できることは黙って外国人３人の復調を待つだけという事になっちゃうもんなあ。もしくは優勝もＡクラスも諦めました！と決めた段階でなら外国人育てたって仕方ないから若手主体のチームにできると思うけど。

フェルナンドは代打でヒットを打って首をつないだ。だっていつものパターンだったから。
スタメンマルチヒット→またスタメン→２打席凡退で即ベンチ→代打→凡退したら二軍　という流れのなかで代打ヒットだったので明日以降もスタメンがあるかもしれない。
８回の裏、もう最後の守りだろうからオコエがセンターのままで良いのにと思った。しかしフェルナンドをレフトに入れてセンターには岡島。これは明日への布石かと。つまり明日からはオコエを出さなくて済むようにセンター岡島、ライトペゲーロ、レフトフェルナンドという外野でいくのではないか。これだと右中間も左中間も簡単に抜けてしまう恐ろしい守備陣になってしまうけど仕方ないもんなあ。

今日は二軍戦で岩見が４の４、１ホームランだったらしいが上げはしないのだろう。オコエや島井、八百板らを見ていると「二軍で四割近く打ってても現実はオコエみたいなんすよ！」と首脳陣に言われているようなもんだよなあと。

しかし、つくづく前評判と違って層がうすいよなあと思った。
例えば

一塁　　　内田　　　枡田
二塁　　　　　村林（怪我）吉持（怪我）山﨑（怪我）　西巻
ショート

サード　　内田


外野　　　聖沢（今日も無安打）、あきと（怪我）岩見、オコエＤ（怪我）

なので怪我でなく一軍に上がって来れるのは

内田、枡田、西巻、聖沢、岩見の５人しかいないんだもんね。

こう考えると現在の一軍選手が復調するまで、ただバカのように見ているしかないわけでストレスが溜まっちゃうよなあ、と。しかも先述の全力で走らないという件ではウィーラーもショートゴロで「あ～あ」みたいな顔でたらたら走ってたし、もう選手全員やる気がないように見えていまう。こうしたチームの敗戦を日々耐えて見なければならないのは楽天ファンの宿命というものなんすかね。
