去年と違って代打で活躍するってことがなかったすね。スタメンで出されても同様。非常に三振が多かった。打ったのはコラレス試合に同点まで追いついた時くらいかしら。そのごまたさっぱり打てなくなって二軍へ落ちた時には多くの人が「枡田はこれで見納めだ」とおもったのではないでしょうか？しかしCSでの活躍は素晴らしく、これだけで来期も残留することが決まったようなもんですね。確かにプロ野球選手は「ここぞ」という場面で結果を出すことが何より大事なわけですけど。
さて来期の起用はファーストだとすると、銀二、内田、アマダー、今江との競争。と考えると左の代打起用というのが最もあり得そうなポジションではあります。というのも、楽天は１２球団で代打成功の率が確か最も低かったような。
楽天の控え選手は守備固めがほとんどで打撃の専門家がいないということが一番でしょう。どうしても点が欲しいところで藤田とかだしているんですから。他にも控えは阿部、村林、今江、聖沢と打撃の方はちょっとねえ、という守備専ばかりがいたのだと思う。一発長打で試合をひっくり返すバッターはいなかったので、捕手に回ってこない限りは代打を出してもしかたないという部分もあったのでしょう。終盤の枡田の打撃なら左の代打としてやっていけるでしょう。去年も代打安打率は高かったし。そして右の代打は内田か、やらせてみなければわからないけど岩見あたりを準備しておけばいいんじゃないでしょうか。いずれにしても来期に成績を残さないと年齢も年齢なのでトレード要因にもならないでしょうし、最悪引退という事にもなりかねません。なるべく間をおかないで試合に出してもらえればいいのにな、と思います。

ところで外国人選手の契約が報道されていました。クルーズが解雇なのは仕方ないとして、コラレスと契約というのには驚きました。確かに空振りを取った速い球もありました。しかし点は取られても無難にまとめることができなかった投手は今後も同じことをやる可能性は高いのでは。負けゲームの中継ぎで起用するというセオリーヵら逸脱したのが最もよくない点ですが。もし獲得に星野さんも絡んでいたとすれば「一回くらい炎上したからなんだ！」という事で有無を言わさず契約なんでしょうか。それが誰かはわかりませんが、あの大事な試合にコラレスゴリ押し登板を強行したスタッフが来期以降も居るとなるとファンにとっては爆弾を抱えているようなものかもしれないなあと、思います。普通に二軍で素晴らしい成績を上げて、一軍の敗戦処理で様子を見て、競ったゲームで投げさせて、ホールドポイントを稼がせてから先発、という形式なら問題ないんですけどね。
