オープン戦、二軍でかなり良い成績を誇っていたので、けっこう一軍でやれるのでは？という気がしていました。たしか初出場はピンチランナーで一球目から盗塁成功だったような。アウトなら終わりの場面だったはずで、その場の度胸には驚きました。しかし打席に立つようになってからはカスリもしない三振ばかり。ロッテ戦での決勝ホームランは見事でした。しかし打撃では安打を打つ方が珍しいという、少ない打席数で１割台。後半はライトの守備固めと代走のためだけに居たようなものです。しかし本来は打って守れるバッターなので盗塁専門ではもったいない。従って首脳陣もファンもまったく同じ、打撃をなんとかろよ！とおもっていましまうのであります。
しかし一方で育成の島井が久しぶりに支配下選手になりました。島井といえば見たことはないのですが、盗塁スペシャリストです。今期ファームでは盗塁王。ならば一軍のピッチャー相手に１０くらいはできるんじゃないすかね。
となると、田中は代走要員としては期待しないという評価でなないのか？つまり田中は打撃の向上があって初めて一軍で起用されることになるんじゃないかと思うのです。
外野ポジション争いは激しく、島内、オコエ、聖沢、ペゲーロといて、なおそこにレフトの岩見がはいってくるのです。個人的には外国人大砲三人の使い勝手があるので、日本人長距離打者がどうしても欲しいはずです。従って驚異的に打つような事は期待しなくともレフトを岩見で固定する可能性はけっこう高いと思われます。
島内が絶不調にでもならない限りセンターでしょうし、アマダーに一塁やらせない限りはライトはペゲーロでしょう。そこでレフトに岩見が入ると、センターのサブにオコエ、ライトの控えに田中というケースもあるような気がします。現在、台湾ウインターリーグで逆転ホームラン打ったりして活躍しているらしいですが何かを掴んで帰国すればいいですね。ただ足は速いのだけれどオーバーランや野球判断の甘い「機転の利かない」タイプなので後々への影響が心配ではあります。 ※拍手コメントありがとうございます。ハサミトギさん、純粋な先発から中継ぎにって上手くいく投手が少ないんですよね nonameさん、聖沢は機動力不足も見た目アレですが、ヒットを量産すれば若手にはまけないですけどね。らく１０さん、確かに御説に関心しますが、二人ともリリーフでは散々な成績ではあるんですよねえ。
