だれでもクローザーを務めると３～５年で肩が壊れている例がおおいような。だとすれば今年の肩による離脱で、肩を長期的に悪くする可能性もあるとすれば先発にもっていくのが得策だと思われる。

しかし楽天にはクローザー候補はいない。ハーマンもかなり打たれるタイプだし、相手の士気を下げるほどの実績はもたない。福山もムラがあり、相手の中心打者を必ず押さえる、という確証はない。となると外国人かＦＡによるクローザー獲得以外位は松井の先発移動は難しいのではないだろうか？先発起用はまだしも、クローザー選手は「やってみたけどダメでした」と言っても、すぐに替えはきかないものである。従って外国よりかなり実力のあるクローザーが来ない限りは、抑えは松井でいくのではないか？無論、日ハムの増田とかが、くれば一挙に解決して松井は先発に回れるかもしれない。ただ、なんとなくだけど来ないような気はするし。
そうなると怪我もしたことだし、なるべくなら先発という判断も出てくるかもしれない。無論、代役が代役の責任を果たす能力があるか？が問題だけど新外国人を除けば他にクローザーにふさわしい人物はいないと言えばいないのである。
