コーチ陣入れ替えだって！

一軍投手コーチが変わるのは知っていましたが、まさかソフトバンクの佐藤コーチが来るとは！
佐藤コーチと言えば既に球界でその手腕は認められている一流コーチですよね？そして今年もソフトバンクで日本一にもなりました。モイネロ他の若く経験ない投手もエース格と同等のリリーフにさせたし、大手を振って年俸増量で契約するもんだとばっかり。
それが楽天に来るというのは、星野さんの流れなんでしょう。元々、連れてきたのは星野さん。けど星野さんが休養中に暫定監督になって成績があがらなかった。そしたらデーブが監督代行になって「やってらんねえよ」と思ったのではないか？
田代さんは即座に「辞めます」とでていったけど佐藤コーチは星野さんの手前もあってシーズン終了まで我慢したってところじゃなかったんすかね。
しかしデーブ政権壊滅後は建前上はオーナー口出しせずに星野さんが進める方向にいったことで今回は戻ってきた、とかいうラインなんでしょうか。いずれにせよ、冷静で有能に思えますので大変に良い人事だったのではないかと思う訳です。

ま、デーブがいたおかげで有能なコーチが逃げちゃってたわけだから、デーブ政権というのはよくなかったのでしょうなあ。いまだにデーブがプロ野球ニュースに出てくるとがっかりします。解説がつまんねえから。普通、何かのプレーを説明するときに、その選手の過去のエピソードを出すというのはいいのです。そういうところを知っているからTV局も呼んでいるんでしょう。
しかしエピソードは短く、くるっと回って現在のプレーの説明に戻るのが普通ですが、かれは戻ることなくダラダラ思い出話のように続けるのですね。その時にはVTRが次の大事な場面に来ているので、そのシーンの説明はない、とまあ、これの繰り返しで結局は「話がなげーんだよ！」というところに落ち着いちゃうんですよね。
まあ、頭の回転が遅すぎてＶＴＲにすらついていけない頭の悪さを見せられる方がたまったんもんじゃない、という気になるわけです。
こういう人だから普段の監督業でも理詰めで冷静にわかりやすく簡潔に戦略のことなんてコーチや選手に伝えれることはなかっただろう、と思うと、やはり一緒にやったコーチスタッフはのこるわけないよなあ、という気もするのです。


そして一軍打撃コーチには意外な人物、高須。驚きました。高須は星野時代にやや起用されなくなってコーチを打診されたけれど戦力外、実業団へ行って去年はＤＮＡの二軍コーチだったはず。どちらかというと冷たく追い出した感のある楽天に戻ってくるとは！しかも１軍打撃コーチといったらかなり上のポストですよねえ。辞めた時はコーチ就任要請があったらしいとの話もでましたが（ジュニアコーチとかでしょうね）現役としては戦力外。あっさり首切った楽天にはよい思いをもっていないのかと思ったら違うんですねえ。

コメントでもいただきましたが、与田コーチ、池山コーチは単に降格ではないのかもしれません。絶好調で一軍選手を突き上げる存在が二軍にほとんどいなかったというチーム戦力の薄さを思えば、より有能なコーチが必要だと考えての人事かもしれません。

なかなか楽しみではありますね。


なお！明日から若い背番号順に選手の個人的評価と来季への期待シリーズなど始めたいと思っております。
