恐れていた故障離脱と引き換えの勝利

巷では楽天は外国人だけのチームではないか、と言われているらしい。ま、確かにそうだよなと思う。２０１５年最下位時とあまりメンバーが変わっていない。むろん優勝時とも野手はかわっていないんだけれど。

島内、岡島、聖沢、松井、、銀次、嶋、藤田、というスタメンメンバーは最下位の時も今も一軍の戦力である。そして各自、最下位当時より成績が抜群に良いわけではない。何故に勝ってるかと言えば引き算で外国人選手の力に違いないと言えるだろう。

さて本日の試合。なんか頭にくるようなプレイばかり。
釜田はファーストベースカバーが遅れてゲッツーが成立しないとか、セイフティバントで自分で捕ろうとも一塁に走ろうともせず、やや遅れて入った銀次に今江が悪送球でランナー二進。
最後はＴ岡田をピッチャーゴロで打ち取った場面でゲッツーを焦ってセカンドへ悪送球。ランナーが還ってタイムリーエラーとなる。このフィールディングの悪さは怠けている、というよりは元々そういう方面まで意識したことがないのだと思う。けっこう致命的だよね。
投げるボールの威力は大したものだけど先頭打者に息を吐くように四球を出す。などまったく安定しない投球で場合によっては５回コールド負けの可能性すらあった。７回２失点という数字以上に目も当てられない投球内容だったとおもう。ローテにいれないのも当然だわ。

島内と聖沢にしかヒットがなかった楽天がようやく奮起したのが８回。また不振に戻ったかのような今江がしぶとくセンター返しで出塁。三好の打順から代打攻勢。松井稼頭央は見逃し三振、久々の西田は当てにいってバットが折れるセカンドライナー。大事に行き過ぎですね。
しかし島内がまた意外性の突然ライトギリギリ２ランホームラン。よくやった！こういうのが島内のありがたさ、振り出しに戻した。

９回の登板は何と久保。え？先日打たれたばかりだよね？ただ来週も考えると昨日リリーフ全員投げさせちゃったから、なにがなんでも起用したくなかったんでしょう。冷静で懸命な判断です。久保は今日、コントロール良く、３人とも打たせて取ってました。下位打線ならいけるかもしれませんね。

９回裏はアマダーから。彼は昨日の流れでスイングや見逃し方が悪くはなかった。特に四球で出た時に外角低めに逃げるスライダーをよく見逃していたのが効果的。
この打席もインコース攻めのあとでアウトコース低めスライダーの予定だったのかも。何度か良い球が来たが打ち損じ。しかし５球目のアウトコースのストレートを逆方向に打った。右打ちだったけれど見ていて「きっと入るだろう」という打球。
これって「変化球狙え」だけでなく引っ張ってひっかけるな、という助言も得ていたのかも。こうしてライトに打っても楽々中段まで飛ぶもんね。これからも軽打ホームランを期待している。


そして、試合後は良い試合だ！とアマダーのシャイインタビューなど楽しく聞いていたのだが、夜にニュースを見て暗い気持ちに。走塁中左足を痛めたペゲーロが３週間。肩を痛めた岡島が３週間離脱することになったと。岡島の穴はそのまま聖沢が埋められそうだけどペゲーロの穴埋められる選手は楽天にいないもんなあ。
明日二人は抹消されるようだけれど、誰が上がってどういった構成にするのかは、明日改めて予想して書きたいと思っています。しかしホントにアマダーの調子が上がってきたら、ウィーラー、ペゲーロとそろい踏みで最強だったのになあ、と悔しい思いが拭い切れません。何とか乗り切って９月の最終決戦をアマ、ペゲ、ウィー、茂木、岡島が揃って戦えれば良いですね。
