集中打でコールドに持ち込む

台風は直撃せず逸れたが、予報は雨。試合開始時は雨は降っていなかったものの、いずれ振るのは確かだったから早めに点を取っておきたいのは両チームともに同じだったでしょう。

１回は島内、ペゲーロが凡退も岡島が予想外の「打った瞬間」ホームラン。久々に見ました。そういえば去年、打ちなおしホームランなんてありましたねえ。最近引っ張った強い打球が少なかったので見ていて嬉しくなりました。
しかし初回から前回でいくと思われる則本は微妙にコントロールが安定せず、四球を二つも出してしまいます。そして鈴木に技ありのタイムリーを打たれて同点。いやな雰囲気になってきました。

２回にはアマダーが特大のファウル。フェアゾーンだったら場外？しかしその後三振、ということもなく同じように捕らえてレフトへ。フェンス際まで転がりましたがファーストで止まったのはご愛敬。しかしアマダーを４番に置きたくなるのもわかります。上位が出て打って点が取れる場所ならいいのですが、打線が切れて最初のランナーになると困るもんね。
藤田は送りバントするわけにもいかず、打って行ったがレフトフライ。嶋に至ってはゲッツーを防ぐためかエンドランをかけたが嶋は見逃し。アマダーは二塁手前でお辞儀をしながらタッチをもらってました。

３回はペゲーロがレフトへ強い打球を打ちましたがセカンドに走ってこない。何故か一塁で大の字に。転んで怪我したのか？ぬかるんでて？と思ったら足が絡まったようですな。怪我がなくて（今のところは）何よりです。

則本はその後、順調に抑えて迎えた４回。
銀次が「そんな難しいボール球打つなら普通のストライク打てばいいのに」というような膝下あたりのボールを縦スイングでライトへヒット。アマダーがさっきと同じようにライナーでレフト前に打って１、２塁。藤田は長打で一気に決めようとしたのかライトへフルスイング。しかし向かい風もあってライト定位置フライに。これで銀次がタッチアップして１、３塁。嶋は粘りに粘って四球を選び満塁。２アウト満塁で打順が回ってきたのは三好！
三好は前の打席はどうしようもないファーストファウルフライ。この人、長く見てないから知らなかったけどプルヒッターなんすね。元は内田よりホームラン打ってた長距離砲予備軍。なので内田や中川のように真ん中やインコースは打つけどアウトコースは打てない。特にアウトスラ。一球まったく合ってないような空振りをして、追いこまれてから相手は当然のように外角のストレートで勝負。これを予想に反してものの見事に逆方向に打ち返し、早い打球がライナーでライト前にタイムリー。よかったですな、今までの打点と違ってチームでどうしても欲しい１点だったから。監督も本人も嬉しそうでした。このまま茂木が戻ったら二遊間を組むくらいの勢いで頑張ってほしいもんです。
さて、その後、２三振だった島内も詰まりながらセンター前にタイムリー。ペゲーロも恐ろしく速い打球で三遊間を抜くタイムリー。これで合計５点。もう十分と言わんばかりに岡島は早打ちで凡退。
だって５回は少しでも早く終わらせる必要がありますからね。
４回裏はやや粘られたものの則本が３凡で終わらせて、いよいよ５回となったころ雨が強くなってきました。なので決して故意ではないのでしょうが、楽天のバッターはボールを見るという事はせずウィーラーは３球目、銀次は２球目、松井稼頭央に至っては打てる球がこなかったのでフルカウントからボールと離れたところでスイングしていたような。

ま、この雨が酷い時のコールド対策では勝っている方は５回裏まで少しでも早く終える。負けている方は何かと時間を引き延ばして雨天コールドを待つ。ということがおおいのですねえ。いつだったか楽天が同じ状況になったことがありました。それは勝っている時で、やはり早く終わらせようと松井稼頭央が見当違いの空振りで三振してたりしました。それに対して相手チームは普通では考えられないほどの選手交代やピッチャー交代、靴紐結びなどで雨が強くなるのを待つという戦法に出て何か騒然とした雰囲気になったのを覚えています。
ま、プレー中のボール回しを辞めるとか、打者がじっくりボールを見ないで早く打っていくというのは時間短縮にもなるのでかまわないと思いますが、無用な交代などで進行を故意に遅らせるのは仮に楽天だとしても、良くないなあとは思うのです。ま、ロッテの選手は粘ってファウル打とうという意識はありましたがプレー上の事だから問題ないですがね。
５回裏の則本はほとんどボールを投げることなく全員に三球勝負にいってたように思えます。それで三者三振ですからねえ、並みではできません。

しかし試合が成立した６回からは、万が一、雨が小降りになれば試合は続くのでいつものペースになりましたが、ここは運悪く３凡。この攻撃が終わったところで中断ー降雨コールドで楽天の勝ちとなりました。

結果的には中継ぎを使わなかったので良い休みになりました。明日は晴れそうだという話もありますので、９イニングたっぷりと見たいと思っています。釜田と佐々木千隼ですが佐々木は以前対戦したころとはかなり球速も上がっておりストレートで空振りが取れるようになったらしく前回のように大勝とは簡単にいかないようです。
