謎の継投の理由は

日曜の試合は「何で岸を８回も投げさせたのか？」という疑問が多かったように思います。確か本人の申し出があったし球数がさほどじゃない、とかいうコメントだったような。
しかし土曜日の美馬を続投させた時も同じような話でした。
以前は何が何でも森原、ハーマン、松井だったのに。この定番リレーを簡単に変えるとは思えないんすよね。
土曜の試合も継投に疑問が。一戦目を勝ってたとしても負けて良いはずはない。しかし美馬が満塁ホームラン打たれた時点で試合を捨てた可能性はあるんでは。今は森原いないし福山、ハーマン、松井は前日に投げた。負けがほぼ決まった試合に出すより投手を温存して日曜に勝つ方向で行くのは当然です。しかしその裏に猛攻と相手のミスで１点差に追いついたわけで。１点差なら敗戦処理は起用しないでそれなりの投手がいくのか？と思ったのですが。

９失点の美馬続投でまた失点

しかし２点差をキープしながらソフトバンクの中軸右打線に高梨を起用。無失点でしたが簡単にヒットを２本ももらって失点してもおかしくない場面でした。そして再度１点差に追いついてからの久保の登板。確かに数試合は無失点ですがビハインド要員の中でも下位ではないのか？少なくとも森原抹消前の福山の位置づけにするのはおかしい。
何か打線が諦めずに何度も追いつこうと頑張っているのに「もう捨て試合だって言ってるじゃん」と言わんばかりの継投。無論、勝ち継投は同点以上じゃないと使わない、と厳密に決めている可能性もありますが、９回には福山を出すわけですな。
そんな疑問を持ちながらの日曜の試合。岸が８回も投げると知ったときは「まあ岸だからな」とも思ったのですが。福山が３連投にならないように７回まででハーマン、松井だろうと思っていたので以外でした。結果はご存知の通りですが、土曜の試合と合わせて考えると二試合続けてリリーフ陣の出し惜しみなんてするわけないよな、という感じです。
結局土日の継投が変だったのはハーマンが投げられないからではないかと思いました。金曜にハーマンは投球後に二回転倒してます。中継では「あらあら」みたいな扱いでしたけど二回とも捻るようないやな転び方でした。
なので土日の変な継投はハーマン抜きで何とかしようとした結果のではないかと思ったのです。抹消はしないけどしばらくは投げさせないという程度なのかもしれませんが。
菅原は戻ってきましたが森原はファームで毎回打たれでいるようで昇格が先になるという判断から無理はさせないという方針かもしれません。中継ぎが崩れたらおしまいですからね。
明日からは普通に出てくれれば安心なんですが、雨で中止が増えそうで試合を見られないのは残念ですがその場合は投手陣にとっては良い休みかもしれません。
ま、勝手な想像なんですけど。
