藤田と岸で１点差を逃げ切る

投手戦と言えば聞こえが良いかもしれないが、相手の小野も岸も四球こそ少なかったけれど制球がすばらしく良いわけではなかった。しかも小野は今季初勝利をしておらず、これまでは先発のたびに打ち込まれている一流投手とはいえない選手。
ストレートは150くらい出るけど、上ずるボールも多く、ストライクボールがはっきりしてて狙いを定めやすかったはず。

そんなルーキーに4人だけが５安打というのでは、相手がよかったという前に楽天打線の力と言うレベルは他球団よりまなり劣っているのが現状だろう。中日に負け越したのもＤＮＡに負けたのも、ヤクルトに負け越したのも、多かれ少なかれ打線が打てないので一時の勢いは消えてしまったかのようだ。

打線が悪い時は投手戦に持ち込むのが一番で、しかも投手が岸なら６点も７点も取る必要はないはず。そのために守備重視として藤田をセカンドにいれたのかも。いや、単に右投手だったのが理由かもしれないけど。

岸はけっこう簡単にヒットを打たれて、頻繁に得点圏のランナーが還ってきてしまう、というピンチを作ったけれど、さすがに「ここ一番」では素晴らしいボールで凡打や、三振でピンチを脱した。特に８回。ランナーを１、３塁においてバッター福留の場面。理想的に４－６－３のダブルプレーに取ったシーンは圧巻でした。これがあるから岸は良いんだよなあ。
ちなみに去年は覚えてないんですが、一昨年の阪神戦は戸村が二日続けてサヨナラ本塁打を福留に打たれたような記憶があります。（記憶です）それを思いして、「どーだ！福留！」とつぶやいてみましたが気持ちはすっきりしなかったっすね。やっぱり借りを返すならその場じゃないと。ま、しかし福留には１ヒット打たれましたが得点チャンスではすべてを完全に抑えたのでヨシとしましょう。

そして打線がさっぱりの日は守りしかないわけで。今日は藤田が何度もチームをすくうファインプレイを連発。センカンドベース右わきを抜けようかと言う当たりをダイビングキャッチ、起き上がってすぐにワンバウンドでの速い送球で間一髪アウト。
極めつけはセカンドベース上付近のゴロをダイビングキャッチしてすぐに三好にグラブトス、ダブルプレーを完成させました。
これとは逆に、得点圏での岡島のセカンドベースより左側に飛んだゴロを糸数が追いつきながら後逸したのが決勝タイムリーとなるラッキーさもありました。デーブ解説者によると「普通に捕りに行ってゲッツー捕れる打球。取れないのをごまかすためにダイブしてる」とか言ってました。

さて交流戦は化け物のようなソフトバンクには勝率で負けましたが結局は１０勝８敗と五分以上で追われました。五分ということは勝率は上がりも下がりもしなかった、ということで満足できるんじゃないでしょうかね。
明日から四日も野球がないんですなあ。
現状では連敗が始まりそうな打線陣に短い日数ですが休養とトレーニングをしっかりしてもらって４～５月の打線に近づけてほしいところです。

そういえば茂木が肘痛で一足早く仙台に帰って検査をしたようですが、心配ですねえ。
この辺の結果は明日くらいにはニュースにでると思うので茂木が抜けた穴は明日にでも考えて記事に書いてみようと思ってんのですう。
