不調島内の一打で勝ち越す
まず美馬は最近の手も足も出ないという投球ではなくてヒット、四球などでランナーを出して必ずしも楽なピッチングではありません。スライダーを始めストレートも高めに浮いて時には完全に捕らえられことも多く。万全の状況とは言いがたい様子でしたね。
楽天打線は荒れ球の青柳に手を焼き初回こそ２四球でランナーを出しましたが岡島が送りバント失敗。３塁へ行くはずだったランナーはアウト。しかしウィーラーがポテンながらセンターにもっていって先制タイムリー。３点くらいはいけたイニングでしたなあ。
3回にはペゲーロが珍しくゴロで内野を抜いてシングルヒット。なおも岡島らしい逆方向への強い打球のヒットで１、２塁。銀次が抜けそうかというコースの１、２遊間のゴロを相手が止めてタイムリー内野安打。二走の岡島は悠々アウトになてしまったので、ややコーチの暴走かしらね。
しかし４回に急に美馬がつかまってしまう。４連打で２点を献上。同点になってしまった。
その後両チームとも相手投手を攻めあぐねて凡退が続く。しかし６回、ピッチャーが岩崎にかわってから岡島、銀次がヒットで１、２塁。このチャンスに不調の島内はあえなく三振して終わり。次の藤田は良い当たりのライトへの飛球だったがライトが背走してジャンプ一番捕球してチェンジ。ついてないと言えばついてないんだけど、所詮は打球が伸びなかったのが敗因ですな。
当然、その裏にはピンチが来るわけで美馬はヒットから２アウト２、３塁の絶体絶命のピンチ。しかしバッター原口には粘りに粘られて根負けしそうになる。塁は空いていたし次は捕手の岡崎なので歩かせてもよいのだが代打が出てくる可能性も考えて原口勝負にしたのだろう。結果は１０球目のスライダーをコース真ん中に沈めて空振り三振。先日の広島戦、新井を三振に取ったときのような痺れるかつ重要な場面でしたねえ。
そして７回には楽天がチャンスをつかむのですが。ノーアウト１塁でバッターは投手に代えて西田！西田！二回書いてみました。
バント指示が出るも二度ともファウルで失敗。この人バントできないのかね？
しかたなくヒッティングにいってセンター前ヒットで繋ぎ、ノーアウト１、２塁。さて打順は茂木、と思ったら代打三好じゃあーりませんか！なんで？三好はバント失敗してからバスターに切り替えたものの三振。さすがバント下手でペゲーロを２番にしただけあって嶋以外はバントできないね。しかし三好にバントさせて１アウト２、３塁でペゲーロに託すって変じゃね？
ペゲーロは何とか外野フライ打つ、なんてできないじゃん。常にマン振りして当たれば外野へいくだけで。三振がほとんどでまれに内野ゴロとかだから、タイムリーや犠牲フライを打ってもらう事に賭けるというほど確実なバッターじゃないとおもうんだけど。
でもなんで茂木を引っ込めたか？どうせバントさせるなら茂木の方が上手いし、バントなら体力も使わないじゃない？状況次第で出る、という様子ではなくベンチに座っていたことを見ると、個人的には公表できないけど余程体力が低下しているとかいう代えなければいけない事情があるように見えて心配です。なんなら明日も休んで来週木曜まで休養を十分に取ってほしいものですね。
さて三好は失敗もペゲーロ、岡島までも全員三振を取られてこの回は無得点、なんか相手に流れがいってしまったような展開でした。
そして現在は７回の男となった福山が１ヒットは許したものの危なげないピッチングで今日も防御率0.00をキープ。
その裏、ウィーラーが四球で出た後、得意のこっそり突然スチール。意表をつかれて暴投になりましたがこれはストライク送球でもセーフのタイミング。結果的にこの盗塁が試合の勝敗を分けたと思っています。得点圏にランナーを背負って明らかに相手投手の配球が狂ってきたからです。そしてこのところ豆粒ほども貢献していなかった島内が逆方向にフライを打ち上げ。ああ、獲られたな、と。だって昨日の茂木のヒット性の当たりなんかを悉く好捕していた福留です。しかし風も味方して前進守備だった福留の頭上を越えるタイムリー３ベースとなりました。これでハーマン、松井で勝てるかな、とは思いましたが１点差では心もとない。
藤田三振の後、嶋が粘って四球で出塁、そして待っていた我らの枡田が代打。
枡田はいつものように平凡なファーストゴロでしたが、きっとサードの島内が呪いをかけていたんでしょうねえ。原口が弾いてオールセーフ、追加点１です。
三好が打ち気にはやることなく四球を選んで満塁になったところでペゲーロ。
ま、相手もさんざん三振取っているあいてだし、外人と言えどもデスパイネとかゲレーロという選手並みには「打たれないよね攻め方間違えなければ」と思ってただろう。
だって応援している側だって内心は「また三振かよ」と思っていたはずだ。
初球のストレートかチェンジアップを強振。見た人誰もが「あっ」とだけ言ったであろう特大の一発。阪神ファンの表情を楽しく拝見できました。
何故か本人が打った瞬間に「もう、さんざん全力で振っってたのに当たらねえしよ、やっと入ったじゃねえか、もうめんどくせえ」とか思っているように見えて笑えましたね。
最近三振ばかり、とか打順代えろとか、もう不調のどん底とか言われることもあるけど、悪いと思ってれば突然起死回生の特大ホームランを打ち、頼りにすると４打席連続三振をする。調子が良いか悪いかわからないよね彼は、だからうつことを当てにして４番にいれたり、ランナーを送ってペゲーロと心中だ！といって彼に賭けたりするのは愚の骨頂なんでしょうねえ。スタメンに入れておいて役に立たなくても黙って見てれば突然、思わぬ形で圧倒的な勝利をもたらしてくれる守り神のような存在として見ておくべきでしょう。
そう考えればアマダーも似たようなものなのかもしれません。ま、神様はチームに二人もいらないけどね。
