いったい古川のどこがいいんだ？！

ローテの谷間の金曜日。先発は古川。例によって３カード初戦の捨て試合であることはわかっているんだけれど、なんだか不愉快である。
そもそも古川ってどこが良いのですか？
今日も５回３安打１失点なら充分すぎる成績だと言われても当然だろう。よくやった！と言われたかもしれない。けれど、彼の投球のどこが良いのかさっぱりわからない。
空振りを取れるような速いストレートはない。常時140ｋ以下で１３０台もある。無論、安楽のように１５０投げなくても安定して抑える投手タイプがいることはわかる。でも安楽の場合、絶妙のコントロールがある。古川は球は遅い上に、コントロールもかなりアバウトだ。しかも変化球が落ちるタイプのスライダーだけ。
球が遅くて制球も悪くフォークなどの決め球もない投手がこの先、いつまで通用すると思っているのか？
いや、たぶん首脳陣は今日の投球を見て「良くてこれじゃ一軍ではね」と思ったのではないか。だって３安打の他は中日打者が力んで打ち損じた打球ばかりで、その多くが野手の正面と言うラッキーさも加わった。制球を見定めて狙い球を絞れば、当然カウント取りに来る早くないストレートなんだから慣れたら滅多打ちですわ。足立の変化球を効果的に使う配球で打たされていた感が強いもんなあ。
古川も以前から速い球は投げていて、それがウリだったはずだ。でもきっと力を込めて投げるとストライクが入らずに四球を連発、しまいに棒球を真ん中に集めて痛打される、という去年までのスタイルに危機感を覚えてスタイルを変えようとしたのではないか。そういうブルペンだけ、ファームだけの選手が戦力外解雇になっていくのを見ていれば当然の行動だろう。
でも普通はコーチとかが速いボールはそのままに何かを矯正したりして一人前にするんじゃないのかしらね。なんか二軍コーチ陣が球速は無視して四球だけ減らして「とりあえず試合には出してもらえるレベルにしときました」的な選手の仕上げで満足しちゃっている気がしてならない。
日ハムの斎藤佑樹だってストレート１３０ｋ台だけどツーシーム、フォーク、シュートと多彩な変化球を覚えている。今２１歳の若者が、しかも１５０ｋ投げられる選手が、球が遅く特徴も決め球もない三流投手を目指すというのはおかしな話だと思う。今日も１球は１４７ｋを投げていたけど上ずってコースからはかなり外れていた。こういう強いボールを厳しいところに投げられるようにならなければ今後一軍で投げさせてもらう事はないんじゃなかろうか。すくなくとも同じリーグで何度か対戦した時には確実に滅多打ちになると思うけどなあ。

ま、ローテ空きの金曜日だし、勝っているからこそできる試験ではある。前回の森の好投で「森で行く」と決めても無理はなかったけれど、余裕がある以上、もう一回は古川をテストしようという意思だったのだと理解したい。せめて入野並みにストレートは１４５くらいは出してくれないと中継ぎでも無理ですなあ。

さて打線は「捨て試合」の左投手なのに何故か島内も岡島も茂木も休ませないほぼフルバージョンメンバー。左にも慣れておけ、ということか。今日もさっぱり打てなかったことで多分、交流戦では広島ジョンソンとか左腕をどんどん当てられるでしょうなあ。左打者が左を苦手なのはよくある事としても、左に負けるというのは右バッターで左を打てない奴が多いということでしょう。アマダー、今江、ウィーラー。ウィーラーは今日打ったけどホームランは右が多いよね。
ま、小笠原の左バッターに対する外角へのクロスファイヤーはあまりにストライクゾーンが甘すぎたとは思う。同じボールが右バッターのインに来てもボールなのにね。ま、こういう相手ファンの審判への文句はみっともないのでもうやめるけど。

そして久々のＤＨなしの試合。アマダーが守備に就くか就かないかということが問題ではなく投手が打順に入ることが問題よねえ。投手が９番として捕手が８番の場合、ふたりは自動アウトマシーンになっちゃうよね？ウチの場合。解説で投手の古川より振りが鈍いと言われた足立は確実にブレーキになって投手にバントさせる機会すら生まれなかった。
しかし、打撃がマイナス１００点だったとしても捕手業務では優れていたんだよなあ、という事をキャッチャー伊志嶺に代わってから痛感した。
細かいリードの実例を挙げてああだこうだ言うほど詳しくはないのだが、伊志嶺がマスク被っている時の失点ってすげー多いんじゃね？若手ピッチャーも彼のリード時に炎上して防御率を悪くしているように思える。そしてパスボールの嵐。戸村のは横に大きくそれたからワイルドピッチと言われてもよいと思うけど。菅原のナックルカーブかスライダーのワンバウンドをことごとく後逸。つか全部手の届く範囲でしかもミットにも触ってたはず。ストレート要求してワンバウンドきたなら仕方ないけど落ちるボール要求してんだから捕ってあたりまえ。少なくとも全球前に落とさないで後ろに逸らすってピッチャーのせいじゃないでしょう。
という訳で、打つ方でもさっぱりだし居る意味がないのでさっさと細川か下妻にでも来てもらいたいもんです。細川は２軍戦出てたというので帯同できないことはないと思うんだけど。

ま、しかしお試し試合は終了したので明日からは本気の２試合。なぜか振らないで三振ばかりしていた茂木君も今日の分を取り返すでしょう。

さて、先日「このブログは首脳陣や采配の批判がメインだったので楽天がこう強いと調子がでないのでは」というような内容のコメントをいただきました。図星です！
前々から楽天が勝った時より負けた時の方がアクセスが多かったのですが、最近は勝っているのでますますアクセスは減っているのですねえ、ははは。
でも元々は大久保監督時代にあまりに腹が立って書きだしたブログですので、いつでもだれにでも罵詈雑言で口汚く罵る事が好きなわけではありませんのです、はい。ファン掲示板とも違いますのでね。……でもたまには出るかも…悪口…ははは。
