左の先発に弱い打線
日ハムの吉川はセに行ったし、日ハムの加藤とはローテ上当たらない。大隣は出来が良くなく抹消されたし和田も故障。以前は２カードに一度は左腕との対戦があったような気がするけど、今は菊池雄星くらいなものか。
ロッテのチェンは西野が今一つで苦肉の策とも言える先発起用だったように思えたが、楽天打線はまったく打てなかった。
菊池雄星は左右関係なく打てないレベルの投手だとしても楽天のバッターは左を苦手としている選手がかなり多いのでは。オリックスの松葉との対戦は勝ったけれど打ち崩したという感じじゃない。打ったのは茂木、銀次、島内くらい。岡島は打点こそ挙げたものの内野ゴロのみ。
茂木と銀次は左を苦にせず３割以上打っているし中でも茂木は三割五分を超えて左の方をよく打っている。左にも強いと言われる島内が松葉から２ベースを打ったことで点が入ったけど島内でさえ対左は２割五分程度。
岡島に至っては打率が良いものの対左は１割台。藤田も同じ。ペゲーロも去年は左の方が得意かのように見えたけど今年は苦手。左投手の内角ストレートがダメなんだろう。ウィーラーも打率も低いが左はもっと低く１割くらい。
つまり左を打てる打者がかなり少ないのが現状なのではないかしら？
だとすれば藤田に代えて今江は当然だし、一度は見切りをつけたはずのアマダーを未練がましく６番に入れてきたのも頷ける。岡島を松井稼頭央に代えれば、とも思ったが西武菊池にはまったく通用しなかったからか、チーム一の高打率岡島の賭けたのかはわかんないけど。
多分、アマダーは左だしチェンは球が速くないから合うと思ったのかも。実際は143ｋくらいだけど以前よりは速いストレート中心の投球だったので同じ結果だったけど。
結局、チェンに対して打てたのはウィーラー、銀次、島内のシングルヒットのみ。これじゃ完封しなければ負けますな。以前は左が先発だとずらりと右並べたもんだけど、今は並べる選手がいないもんねえ。外野は松井以外全員左だし。内野も今江とウィーラー以外は左。
まずは守備固め要因でもなく代打でも出ない松井稼頭央は何のためにいるのか疑問。右での代打はなかったし左の代打は聖沢が優先。不調のＤＨの代わりに起用するわけでもなし。アマダーの代走だけのためにベンチ入りの枠を使っている。一軍帯同させているなら調子は悪くないのだろうから左対策で必ずスタメンで使うとか活用できないもんかね。
アマダーは今日はやけに早打ちせずに四球を二つ選んだ。きっと厳しく言われたんだろう。でも満塁の場面では忘れたのか、またなんでもかんでも振っていく三振マシーンに戻った。考えてみれば前にホームラン打った時以来、まともにバットがボールに当たっておらず、全部ひっかけて内野ゴロ、か下をこすってポップフライばかり。チェンのストレートは手ごろなスピードだけど、ちゃんと当たらず前に飛ばない。それでもこの打線では大量点は取れないと見て、一発だけを期待して出したのかもしれないなあと思った。
アマダーに拘らないならウィーラーをＤＨにして今江をサード、セカンドを三好にするという手で右打者を揃える方法があったと思うんだけど。三好好調なのにアマダーの方が打てるとみたんでしょうか。しかも最終回、守備から入ってた三好に代打藤田だって。いや、いくら右投手にかわったからって三好だって右からも打ってるし。負けてる最終回にわざわざ藤田出すまでもないと思うけどな。右打者だからと言って必ず左投手が打てるとは限らないけれど左右に拘るならば、とことん右を揃えた打線を作ってほしかたよなあ。
1番 ショート 茂木 364. 対左
2番 ライト ペゲーロ 182. 対左
3番 サード 今江 231. 対左
４番 ＤＨ ウィーラー 167. 対左
５番 ファースト 銀次 333. 対左
６番 センター 島内 261. 対左
７番 レフト 松井稼頭央 250. 対左
８番 セカンド 三好 500. 対左
９番 捕手 足立 333. 対左
嶋 288. 対左
こうするとほぼ左を苦にしない打線が組めたのにね。この数試合あった左腕対戦を見て各球団が、格落ちではあるけれど、と左腕をぶつけてくる可能性もあるので、今のうちに対策出来る選手を準備しておくべくではないか。
辛島は生命線のインローへのストレートがことごとく審判に取ってもらえなかったあたりから苦しみだしたように見えた。ともかく審判がアウトローもインローも取らない。逆にチェンのハイストレートはじゃんじゃん取ったのにね。そこからボールを高めに投げざるを得なくなって打たれたような。
しかし２回に２点はまだしも４回に滅多打ちに近い連打を浴びる。せめて２失点したところでスパッと辛島をあきらめられなかったものか。とはいえ、２アウトだったし５回までにして、後は戸村と森ですませたかったのだろう。結局菅原まで使ったけど勝ち継投は使わなくて済んだ。
戸村はよりによってダフィに余計な一発をもらうし、森は変化球で打ち取ってはいたがストレートがけっこう完全に打ち込まれていた。岡島のフェンス際ファインプレイがなければ失点していただろう。どうやらこの二人は木曜日釜田先発の敗戦処理として残される可能性があるという程度。
明日は右のスタンリッジだからいつもの左打者中心のオーダーでいけそう。今江を出したいならウィーラーをＤＨとか。それとも今江は足の状態でサード守備は無理なのかな。１イニングだけやってたけど。
最近の則本なら５失点とかはなさそうだけど僅差になると打ち勝ってあと１点が取れるかどうかわからないけケースが多いので茂木に期待するしかないでしょうなあ。アマダー入れていると思えば、どんな若手だって起用できるわけで、スイッチヒッターの田中とかフェルナンドとか、西田とか上げて一試合くらいは４番ＤＨで起用したらどうなのか。毎試合ほぼ無安打の４番で勝ってきてるのなら余裕でできるはずだけどね。
