勝ち越しで連休を終える
昨日の試合でウルフに勝ったのは大きかった。開幕から「これは厳しい」という投手になんだかんだで勝っているのが去年と違うところ。最も金子には開幕戦で勝ったけど先日は完敗したので石川や武田が復活してきたら厳しいかもしれないけど。
さて、昨日の西武戦。無敗のウルフは簡単には打てません。NPB全体に言えるのでしょうが、１５０ｋ近いスピードのツーシーム系を投げる投手には弱いのかもしれない。１番から６番まで連続凡退で今日は投手戦を覚悟。
しかし７番岡島が痛烈な当たりでライト線を破って２ベース。ここでベンチは藤田に送りバント。え？打たせる？と思った。だって１アウト足立ならスクイズはみえみえじゃないすか。1球目は打ちそうな気配で見送って２球目。バッと体制を変えてスクイズへ。見ている方も驚きましたなあ。ウルフも察知してボールをウエストしたようですが、かなり高いボールを足立が確実にバント。見事１点先制。これはイケルんじゃないかと思う。
これで終わらないところが凄い。2アウトから茂木がアウトコースに動いたツーシームを逆らわずに逆方向へ。彼の逆方向への打球は伸びます。フェン直の２塁打。そしてペゲーロも引っ張りではなく左中間へフライを上げた、かと思ったらスタンドイン。あれが入るというパワーに脱帽。
これなら、どんどん打って今日も大差で、と思ったけどウルフも修正してきたようで、その後はまったく打てず投手戦に。というか結局、打線は岡島、茂木、ペゲーロだけで４安打のみ。岸がピンチを作りながらも無失点で抑えてたからこその投手戦勝利ですなあ。
雰囲気としては８回まで岸が無失点で９回松井につないで完封リレー、なんてことを考えてましたが。やはり西武の主砲はおっかねえですねえ。中村の場外ホームランとメヒアの打った瞬間ホームランでたちまち１点差。この二人には今年も痛い目に遭うかもしれないですなあ。
チャンスに送らず打たせた西武と対照的に送ってスクイズと言う、手堅い作戦を決めたベンチの手腕と言えるでしょう。ただ、ひとつだけ。終盤で追加点が欲しい時、１アウトで藤田がランナーで出ました。ここで足立は送らないで打った方がいいんでしょうかね。送って２アウトだけど茂木に任すという考えはないんでしょか。それとも次の回に茂木から始まった方が良いということなんすかね。
岸は７回に２ホームラン打たれて代えるか？と思いました。ランナーまで出したし福山かな？と。しかし続投、これはブーイングの中ランナーを残して逃げるように去る姿を見せるわけにはいかないという監督の思いだったようです。ウィーラーのスタンド際のファウルボウルの補給など、野手陣が良く守って岸７回２失点１点リードのままリリーフに渡せたのも大きかったでしょう。
ヒット一本打たれた森原は絶対的7回リリーフ時代からけっこう外野に飛ばされることもありましたが、まずまずではないでしょうか。
松井に関しては中村らの中軸をまともに打たせないほどの投球で圧倒しました。
さて、明日からはロッテ３連戦
先発は
辛島
則本
誰か…これが不明、古川は抹消したので無理。となると戸村、森、釜田の三位一体でいくのか？例えばいつも３回くらいまではおさえる釜田を先発、４回から戸村、左のあたりで森、とかで前回のようにリリーフ陣を一切っ起用しない、という戦法も大ありですなあ。
しかし下妻を抹消しました。別のキャッチャーが上がってくることはないでしょう。ということはキャッチャーには代打を出さずに戦っていくということです。
となると、以外にも木曜の先発用にファームから誰か上げるとか？
しかし安楽は３回くらいしか投げてませんし、塩見もまだ一試合のみの短いイニング。負けてるならまだしも、勝ってて故障リハビリ選手を無理して起用する愚行をするとは思えません。
となると前述通り、釜田が点を取られるまで先発、取られたら森、戸村で９回まで投げる。とこういう作戦では。
ロッテ戦は相手の投手から考えれば打てない、というような感じではないので、そこに辛島と則本をぶつけられるのは大きいです。あとは古川で２戦勝った時のような粘り強い試合をして木曜も勝てば３連勝も夢ではない。ま、こういう時の下位チームは奇襲的戦法でくるからゆだんできないんだけど。
ロッテは裏ローテだけに大量点を取ってリリーフは楽にさせたいですねえ。別に完投はしなくともいいからさ。
