たった一人の入れ替えで２０安打

試合開始前に恐る恐るメンバー表を見ると茂木はでていたけどアマダーはなし。予想通り外国人二人を一気に抜くことはないと思ってたので空いた４番にウィーラーが入ったのも想定内。
驚きだったのは３番に島内を入れたこと。何故って島内は意外性のバッターだからコンスタントに毎試合ヒット量産するわけでもないから。しかし首脳陣は大砲的バッターとしての役割を期待してたんだろうなあ。
ペゲーロが２ベースで出た後、間髪入れずに島内の完璧な当たりのタイムリー２ベース。ウィーラーのサードゴロもどきヒット、銀次四球の後、聖沢が逆方向へ打ってレフトフェンス直撃のタイムリー２ベース。そのうえ、岡島までが右中間を深々と破るタイムリー３ベース。
アマダーＤＨ固定により間接的に欲求不満になっていたのは聖沢を筆頭に、岡島、今江などですが、その鬱憤を晴らすかの如くの活躍を見せました。
「どや！アマダいなかったら、今までだって、こんなに打てたんやで」と何故か関西風に雄たけびを上げているのが聞こえるかのようでした。

確かに今までは好調の１、２番が揃って出塁をして初めて５番以降にまわったわけですな。仮に茂木かペゲーロの一人だけが出塁したとしても３、４番はアウトなのでチェンジ。次は銀二から再スタートという訳。つまり、茂木とペゲーロが同時に出塁して初めて得点チャンスが生まれるというけっこうハードルの高い状態だったのだと。

今日は４番のアマダーもヒットを打ったのでつながった部分もありますが、やはり３番島内でしょう。チャンスでのゲッツーもあったけど、試合を決めた驚きの２ランも打った。1番タイプの打者として見ると確実性や小技がないので見劣りしますが、長打のある中軸打者としてみれば３番にいてもおかしくない感じ。本人は７番あたりの考えずに打てる打順が気楽で良いと言っているらしいので、どこまで３番が続けられるか？という問題はあるけど。

岡島も２連続３ベースと言う素晴らしい働き。暑くなっても調子が落ちない事を願うばかり。茂木が欠場の際には１番をまかされる可能性が高いので１番でも打ってほしいところ。

さて、アマダー被害者の第一人者聖沢。１打席目では逆方向に大きな当たり。フェンス直撃の２ベース。良いアピールになっただろう。しかも２打席目は絶妙なセイフティバントで快速を飛ばして内野安打。こういう足を絡めた小技ができるところも大きなアピールですねえ。３打席目の綺麗にミートしたヒットも好印象。アマダー抜きの日は出番が回ってくることは確実なのでこのままいってほしい。

ペゲーロは久々に猛打賞の活躍。打球が上がらなかったのでホームランにはなりませんでしたが、いずれも芯で捉えた鋭い打球。打球の速さで軽々と外野の間を抜いていた。しかし腰が痛いというのは本当らしく、走りが普通でなく「欽ちゃん走り」のようになっていたので心配。腰が痛くて逆にスイングがコンパクトになってたりして。ただ痛みが酷く欠場するようですと影響が大きいかな。

心配なのは茂木で一日休んだくらいではカカトの痛みは治らなかった模様。普通に打って走って守ってたけど、やや動きに精細を欠く様子に見えたし足を気にしているシーンもあった。欲しい所でのタイムリーは見事だったけど。
となると、しばらくは三好との併合になるんだろうか。その三好は終盤から茂木と交代して出場。昨日に引き続き、速球を見事なスイングで捉えて、あわやスタンドインか、という素晴らしいフェンス直撃２ベースを放った。スタメンでも大きいのを打ってくれるかもしれない。

また、足立も今日は１０球近く粘りに粘ってから進塁打など、あっさりアウトはなかったし。猛打賞の中には是非追加点が欲しかった場面での左中間を抜くタイムリー２ベースは見事だった。これで打撃も上向いてくれるという事はないと思う。

とは言え、これでアマダーはもういらねえから故郷へ帰せ、というつもりはさらさらない。ホームランなしでの大量点（島内のはあったけど）というのは打線のつながり。つまりは多くの選手が短いヒットを積み重ねた結果である。今日は藤田以外は全員安打だ。
ということはチームの半数が打撃不調になったら打線はつながらず、単打ばかりでは点が入らなくなってしまう。去年のウィーラー一人体制の時のようにだ。打線に関しては去年茂木が入って以来、新しい戦力はいないと言ってよい。つまり去年のような失速が待っているともいえる。
だから、何人かが不調に苦しんで切るときには必ず「一発を打てる大砲」が数人は必要となる事は目に見えている。
従って、アマダーはファームでじっくり調整して得意な夏には戻ってもらい、また外国人３人の恐怖打線を組めるようになれば、アレも確実に近づいてくると思うの。そもそもアマダーって寒い時期に野球やったことないんじゃないかしら？去年だって夏までは怪我で毎日寝て食ってだけだったんだろうし。仮に７，８，９月でホームラン１５本打ってくれればかなり貢献してもらったことになるんじゃないかしら。
