梨田監督の外国人起用法

ある方のコメントでアタシが最近思っていた事と同じような報告を受けまして考えてみたです。
アタシは梨田監督が前に近鉄やら日ハムの監督をやっていた時代の采配はほとんど知らない。だから、ちょっと打てないとスッパリと二軍に送るタイプなのかどうかは知らないのだった。
では、温情派でじっくりと育てる傾向があるかと言えば中川や西田は１打席も与えずに抹消するという非情さも持ち合わせているのである。
しかし外国人に関してはニュースによれば「キャプテンは嶋だけど外国人のキャプテンは君だからまとめ役をやってくれ」とウィーラーに頼んだという話もある。
日ハム時代にも外国人選手とはコミニュケーションを密に取ってきた、とも。
「外国人３人で一試合１２打席あるからそのうち1本ホームランがでれば」という外国人をセットで見ているような発言もあった。つまりは、まんべんなく打ったとしても一人当たり３試合に１本、細かく言えば１２打席１ヒット（本塁打）なら３人起用し続けるという意味だろう。

デーブ時代でも不可解な選手起用は話題になったもんだが、多くは特定選手を強く勧める編成のお偉いさんだとか、極めつけはオーナーのＦＡＸといったことも事実だったようだ。（伝達がＦＡＸかどうかは別として）また、成績が悪くなりすぎて周囲の声に耐えられず意思を曲げたケースもあるように思えた。デーブの時は本人の好き嫌いもあったように思え、サンチェスなんか開幕２試合でノーヒットだと即座にスタメンから外したり、一軍と二軍を頻繁に行き来させてたよなあ。

梨田監督は外国人３人のグループにやや遠慮しているように見える。アマダーもペゲーロもベンチでいつも固まっており、あまり日本人選手と仲良くしているシーンが映らない。言語が英語じゃないでいもあるのかもしれない。開幕一か月で成績が云々ということでアマダーを落としたりするとウィーラー、ペゲーロと首脳陣の関係がぎくしゃくすることを恐れているのではないかと。
少し前だけど、「ウィーラーに打順を変えることを打診したら、チームの状態は良いからこのままでと言われた」という事を取材に対して言っている。
ま、他のチームだと例えばダフィを抹消するのもスタッフが本人に通告するだけだと思う。つまり、それだけ外国人に気を使った起用法をしていると言ってよいのではないだろうか。
確か以前の監督経験から大事な事だと考えているようだが、彼独特の外構人選手掌握方だとすれば信じて黙って見ているしかあるまい、とか思ったっす。

今日はペゲーロこそ唯一の長打、2ベースを打ったけど、ウィーラーは無安打。しかしバットで菊池のボールを打った結果の凡退では済まなかったのがアマダー。
確かファウルが１球あったと思うけど、他は全て空振り三振。しかも振り遅れの上にボールとかなり離れた場所をスイングしていた。速球ばかりではなく、ピッチャーが変わってからもスライダー３球で空振り三振と４三振。
こうなると、かばう役目であるウィーラーもペゲーロもアマダーを外すことに異議はない、という状況にもっていこうとしたのではないか？とさえ考えてします。
これならば残った外国人選手は自分が活躍し続けながら抹消された仲間を待ち続ければ」よいのだから。ま、去年と同じ３人で結束も固いだろうし、去年の活躍から「打線は俺たちがメインだ」という自負があっても当然だし、そうあってくれた方がよかったのだけれど。

だから今日の無様なアマダーの４三振を見て事態の深刻さを悟り、ウィーラー、ペゲーロがアマダーに二軍での調整を進めたりする段階になって初めて二軍行きを示唆するのではないか？
とかいうのは考えすぎっすかね。ただ、外国人との絆ばかり優先していると、しわよせで出番が来ない日本人選手の恨みを買う可能性もあるので配分良くやってほしいですね。

さて試合は、レフトに松井、ショートに三好、藤田でなくて今江という布陣。単に左対策と見るべきなのか。岡島は左を得意としているわけじゃないけど投手が左の時に代打出されたりはしない。去年も左先発の時も普通に出ていた。なんせ外野は左だけなんだから、そもそも左右を気にするのがおかしい。しかも松井は右打席で打つ、ということだけで今年は特別に左投手を打っている実績もないのである。
なのに珍しく松井をスタメンにしたというのは出番のない松井に気を使ったのかもしれない。

茂木に代えて三好、も単に左右の問題かと思ったら、放送中茂木の足にやや不安があったらしいことを言っていた。今後もちょくちょく三好は出ることになりそう。三好はエラーもあったけれど今日最も菊池のストレートにタイミングよく合わせていたし、シュリッターの150超えの速球を見事に左中間へはじき返していた。意外と打撃の調子が一番良いかも。
ペゲーロは一回にレフト戦への２塁打。しかしいつも速球は逆方向に打つなあ。単なる振り遅れなんだろうか。途中で下がったのはもったいなかった。
まずい守備の為かとも思ったが、元々ペゲーロの打球への反応の遅さとスタートの遅さはわかっていたことだと思う。平凡なライナーでも急がずノソノソ移動して目いっぱい伸びてキャッチしたりするし。打球判断が鈍いんでしょうなあ。
しかし監督談話では移動中に狭い座席で腰痛を起こしたとか。もしかして離脱？

釜田はいつも通りという感じ。４回くらいから悪い癖が出始める。球速は147ｋとか出ても空振りが取れない、粘られる。中村にホームラン打たれた真ん中高めのカーブなんか足立が要求するわけないから既に制球すらままならなかったのだろう。
しかし４点取られても変えず５点目まだ待ったのは単にイニングを余らせて投手を多く使いたくなかったためでは。小山じゃなくて戸村、と森で試合終了までというプランには捨て試合でもあわよくば勝つ、という意思も見えた気がした。
また、釜田がこうでは次週の金曜日の先発は微妙だし。再来週の木曜も未定だ。森か戸村のテストの意味合いもあったかもしれない。
戸村は四球を出すもまずまずよかった。
森は１イニング目、中村、渡辺、メヒアという強い右打者を圧倒。150ｋくらいのストレートとカーブで有利なカウントで進めて簡単に抑えた。これはもうナンバーワン先発左腕！と思ったけど２イニング目にランナー出したら別人に。クイックは変えたようだけどセットだと球威はなくなりコントロールもダメ。いつものように左打者にデッドボール。
ランナーなしで投げる機会は投手にはそう多くないので、ここを何とかしないと出てこられませんね。
ま、今月いっぱい待てば安楽や塩見が戻ってくるらしいですが、そのころ順位はどのへんにいえるのでしょうね。
明日は外国人のオーダーがどうなているのか楽しみです。かわらなければ、かわらないでおうえんしますけどね。
