来期の現実的な外野メンバー

なんか前も似たような事書いたかもしれないけど、書くことがないんだよなあ。
フェルナンドとかオコエとか期待されている若手もいるけれど、実際には打線という意味じゃ補強はドラフト以外なかったことになる。つまり来期も日本人大砲はいないということだよね。
フェルナンド、中川、内田とかは開幕から大砲として期待してスタメンにはしないだろう。今期の起用を見ても、無難なオーダーというか茂木以外は「いつものベテラン」を迷うことなく起用していたと思う。変わってきたのは銀二、今江、松井稼頭央の不振が深刻になってきたあたりからだ。

だから来期もきっと、よほどオープン戦で目を付けた選手がいなければ、とりあえずは無難なオーダーなんじゃないかと思う。とすると大砲がいないのだからペゲーロ、アマダー、ウィーラーは一軍、しかもできれば３人出したいだろう。投手をハーマン一人にしておけば可能ではある。

外野のセンターは怪我がなければ島内が当確といえるのではないか。そしてライトに岡島。岡島は後半の出来なら一軍にはいらないけど、俊足で前半くらい打てるトップバッターはぜひとも欲しいところだし、無田監督も今季前半のチームの好調さは岡島にその原因の一端を見ていたはずだ。なのでオープン戦でよほど酷くなければ岡島になるのではないか。
そして外国人一人をＤＨで使うためにはウィーラーがサード、ペゲーロがレフトになるしかない。ということは銀二か今江が控えになるということだね。今江をファーストにしてもいいわけだし。
となると、控えになった選手は代打か守備固めという役割になる。捕手３人制から考えても代打は重要だし人数も必要だ。桝田や松井稼頭央だけでは足りないだろう。
逆にサードウィーラーの守備固めなら阿部がいる。
となると今江が絶好の得点機に代打の切り札として使えるか？というと、それはないな。
逆に銀二ならシングルヒットでもタイムリーを打つ確率は高い。となると代打要因でベンチに残るのは銀二ということになるのかな。
ウィーラー、ペゲーロ、島内の外野陣よりはまだ守備的に大丈夫な気がするけど。

ただ、アタシはペゲーロの守備はそんな酷くはないようにも思う。むろんウィーラーより落ちると思うけど決して足は遅くはない。ただ、落下点に行くのはやや遅いけど。あと返球の肩はかなり良いほうだと思う。以前は本塁へダイレクト送球で島が届かないほど高いボールを投げてランナーが一人多く還ってきたことが二度ほどだった。
先日ＮＨＫの「捕殺」の番組で見たらアメリカの外野手はほとんど中継プレイなんて考えないでダイレクト返球をすると言っていた。そういうもんだという意識があるんだろうな。
なら、前もってダイレクトと中継のケースをレクチャーしておけばいんだと思うし。
ただ、ペゲーロはライトの方がよいようにも思う。ホームランボールをフェンスから手を伸ばして捕りそうになったこともあったし、サードへの返球を練習すればランナーを刺せる可能性は岡島より高いのでは？逆に岡島はレフトをオフに練習すれば出場チャンスも増えるんじゃないかしらね。ただ、内野を抜けたゴロに対するチャージはトロイんだけどね。
で、外野の控えは、聖沢を筆頭に、オコエ、松井稼頭央、フェルナンド、福田あたりでしょうか。あまりにバント下手ばかり多いので、福田あたりは確実な犠打の２番あたりに入れたいところ。上手だからって茂木にバントさせるのはもったいないもんね。

むろん、これからキャンプ、オープン戦と進むうちに必ず故障者は出てくるので、そうなると一気にすべてが変わってしまう。となるとこんな予想なんて意味ないんだよなあ、ほんとは。
