微妙な走塁判断

さすがにロッテ戦３連勝（後の振り替え含めて）して、その後ロッテが全敗して…という都合の良い展開はあり得ないとは思っていましたが。思わぬところから失点して負けました。

そんなに腹立たしくないのは打てないながらも美馬が完全にロッテ打線を抑えていたからですね。５回２安打って素晴らしかったです。これくらい締まった試合なら不満はあまりありません。清田への死球は、ま、美馬ならたまにあるかなあ、という感じですが。多分たいした怪我ではなかったようで何よりです。ロッテはCSがありますから。この時の状況ではリリーフなんて当然用意してないでしょうから突然の登板では打たれますね。１点で済ませたのは偉いくらいです。

さて、どうも気にくわないのは、みなさん同じだと思いますがペレスのセンター前ヒットで島内がホームタッチアウトになった場面。画面には映っていませんでしたが、アナウンサーは驚いたように「回ったー！」と言いました。当然思ったより島内が早くホームに近づいているのかと思ったのですが画面に移った時は「止まって戻ってもいいんじゃね？」と思えるくらい遅いタイミング。島内はもうアウト覚悟で突っ込むしかなかたでしょう。

解説の里崎さんは何度もしつこく「岡田が捕球した時点では島内はサードベースに達していなかった。その上、守備が岡田であり、次のバッターが４番ウィーラーなら回すなんて考えにくい」というような事を言ってました。無論、解説者ですからやや遠回しにですが「マキシってバカなんじゃね？」と言っていたのでしょう。

そしてヤフーニュースの梨田監督の試合後のコメントでは「島内の打球判断」が良くなかったように言われていました。

なんだか、これは今シーズン再三あったマキシコーチのホーム突入判断のミスが尾を引いているような気がしてならんのです。
例えば茂木の１本目のランニングホームランの時はマキシコーチの制止を無視して茂木はホームへ走ってセーフになりました。
ここからは個人的な想像に過ぎませんが、一選手が上司であるコーチの指示に従わなかった場合、結果が良い方に出てもお咎めを受けるのではないか？と。例えば、会社業務で得意先との折衝で部長から厳命を受けていたのにもかかわらず、それを敢えて無視して結果的に契約が取れた時は手放しでほめられると言う事は日本ではあまりないでしょう。

なので茂木の時も、「よくぞマキシコーチの駄目な指示を無視して１点取ったな！」とは言われなかっただろう、と。きっと、「今回は素晴らしい走塁でセーフになったけど基本はサードコーチャーが判断するんだから指示には従いなさいよ」といわれただろうなあ、と。
だってＴＯＰが「管理職の指示が間違っていると思ったら好きにやって結果出せればいいよ」とは言えませんもんね。もしかすると茂木本人もルーキーの立場で「マキシの指示は駄目だから無視しました」とは言えないので「見えなかった」「止まれなかった」などと言っておいたのかもしれません。

一方で判断ミスだったのは明らかですから前回までの「ＧＯ」で帰せた指示を間違ったマキシコーチにだけは「今年からコリジョンなんだから際どいタイミングは回してくれよ」というような事を言ったのではないでしょうか。しかし、それは誰が見ても無理な場合にも回せ、という意味であるはずがないのですが、限度を知らないと言う人も世の中にはいるでしょう。

こうした背景があって、いざ、ランナーを止めるか行かせるか、の指示が必要になった段階で、素人でもわかる無理な突入をさせてしまったのではないでしょうか。島内は打球が内野の頭を超えてセンターの前に行った頃は前を向いて走っていますからマキシコーチを見るしかない訳です。マキシコーチはセンター岡田が捕球したのは見えたはずですから、その時点でサードに到達していない島内を止めることは可能でしたね。
これを島内の走塁のせいにするのは、かなり可哀想な気がしました。
ま、マキシさんは梨田さんが連れてきたスタッフですから「コーチャーとして駄目」だから解雇とはならないでしょうし。一軍、守備走塁コーチなのでサードコーチャー以外の仕事が優れているのかもしれません。なら一塁コーチャーとか担当部署を替えてあげればいいのにと思います。

さすがに明日負けてＣＳゼロになると若手主体のメンバーにするのでしょうか。それとも４位死守にこだわってベテラン＆外人メンバーでいくのでしょうか。
いずれにせよ、打てる気配皆無の石川相手に打線がどう対応するのかは見ものです。やっぱり２～３安打完封だったら、明日打線に入っている野手は来季も石川に完封される選手の集まりだと予想できますね。

特に外野はペゲーロが内角速球＆堕ちる球を克服できるかという部分もあるので外野決定とは言えず。ペレスも波がある。岡島、島内、聖沢は誰が欠けてもあまり影響のない存在ですので、来季の外野は決まったレギュラーがいないという状況になるので新入団含む若い世代にチャンスでもありますね。
