銀次の居場所

今日は弱い雨だからできるかと思ってたのですが天然芝だと無理なんでしょうね。朝から降り続いてますし。なんか明日も駄目そうな感じです。連敗している時は休みより早く１勝してもらうと気分が明るくなるんですけどね。

さて今日は例によっての銀次批判をするわけではなく、自分は勝手に銀次のイメージを勘違いしてたよなあ、という反省文のようなもんです。

二軍にいたころはリードがイマイチだけど打てる捕手と言うイメージしかなかったんですが、認識したのは枡田ショート、銀次セカンドのころからでしょうか。当然、守備と走塁の酷さに二人ともいらねえよ！とか思ってましたけど。結局、銀次は打力だけを生かす為に守備ポジションを模索していたという事なんでしょうなあ。セカンド、ショートは無理で外野も無理。だからサードかファーストしかないので両ポジションを銀次優先で考えた、と。でも、サードも「出来る」というだけで捕球はよいけど送球がアレ、という事もあって使うならファーストしかないような雰囲気で。
ただ、優勝に貢献した2013だって交流戦でＡＪが出る時は代打という立場だったのですねえ。

その後はファーストで３番は銀次ありきという構想になっていってアタシもいつのまにか、それが当然のような気がしてました。サンチェスはファースト専で獲ったけれど、その場合は銀次サード構想でしたしね。ただ、銀次が怪我でサンチェスが不調な場合に代わるファーストは誰もいなかったという事が判明したわけです。他のポジションと比べて不調や怪我の際にはこの人という選手を用意してないように思えました。だって伊志嶺とかペーニャとかなんだもん。で、怪我から復帰すると競争もなくすんなりファーストに。これはアタシも待っていたし当然だと思ってました。

ただ、当たり前ですけど３割打つからこの地位が許されるんだよなあ、と今更ながら思ったわけで。これがショートとか、セカンドなら２割７分くらいでも悪くないんでしょうけど。銀次の場合は長打がほとんどなく、シングルヒットだけ。しかも足も速くないとなれば、２割４分、本塁打１５本の外国人ファーストを獲れば、打率の方は足の速い外野手で十分替えが効くんではないかと。そう考えると単打マンでファースト専だと場合によっては楽天だけでなくＮＰＢでのい場所だってなくなったりするんじゃね？とか思って。いや、３３歳くらになったらね。ホームランバッターじゃない場合は鉄平みたいに打率が落ちると解雇だもの。
いや、これまではファースト専の大砲で良い選手がいなかったから考えた事もなかったし。ただ球団もまったく考えていない訳じゃないんだろうし。アマダ―だってファースト専だから。

本人はクレバー能力無しな人かと思ってたけど、意外と危機感は持ってたりして。去年だったか、解説者が「内角のボールを詰まらせてレフトへ落とすのが理想」と銀次が言っていた、という発言をしていた。本人が言ったかどうかは不明だけど、なんか３番としては違うよなと素人ながら思ったのです。どうしてもタイムリーが欲しい場面とか１番とかならともかく中軸打者は基本はジャストミートで強く打ち返すもんじゃね？とか。

ただ今シーズンを見てれば、確かにポテンヒットでもランナー返せば勝てる試合もあった。でも、本人が今後の立場も考えて長打を狙うことによって今年の不調があるのだとすれば、なんかどっちが良いのかわからないものねえ。確かに今の単打マンで３割打っても、守備位置や長打では糸井には完全に劣っちゃうわけだし。
となると、守備位置はともかく単打を期待するのなら２番か６番がよいのでは？と思った次第です。あ、前置きが長すぎましたね、すみません。
明日は試合を、しかも勝ち試合をみたいものです。

梨田監督は銀次を二番で使いたいと開幕前に言っていたので、このタイミングで変えてくるかもと思ったのですが、全くその気は無いみたいですね

コメントありがとうございます。３番に据えた松井稼頭央の不調がまだ治ってないんでしょうか。松井３番あっての銀次２番だったようで。今江では３番ちょっと、ですから岡島か、松井がよくなるのを待つということかもしれません。ここ最近の休養でオープン戦時の状態に戻るといいですね！
