決められない人たち　延長１２回も勝ちきれず

あとで書くけど勝負弱いバッターっているもんだよなあ、と。同点とかサヨナラの場面だと打てないってケース。精神的なものも多分にあるんだろうけど、ここぞという場面では体に力が入って固くなったり逆に力強くスイングできなかったりと運不運以外の科学的なものもあるんだろうと思う。肝心なところで活躍してきたから今、プロにいるのだろうけれど、その中でもこういうのが弱い人は淘汰されていくよね。

１回のホームランは辛島だとありがちで連打はもらわなかったから良しとしよう。
その裏の攻撃。聖沢がセンターにイイ当たり、走塁もよくて２ベースに。いいね！山﨑が二球目で送ってランナー３塁で小斉。う～んと思ったけど強い当たりでライトの右を破るタイムリー２ベースで先制点。無駄のない理想的な点の取り方だったよねえ。松井とサンチェスは凡退。ここでもう１点は取っておきたかった。

２回表は中川が四球を選んだ。まさかと思ったけど盗塁はしなかったね。フェルナンドがセンター前に運んで、小山が送りバントで１アウト２、３塁。バッターは阿部。スクイズ。今日は決めてくれました。ここでも聖沢は凡退。なんか波に乗れない感じだ。

４回、オリックスの攻撃、ランナー１、３塁で小山がパスボール。つか低めにチェンジアップを要求していたくせにパスボール。前に落とすならともかく股の間を抜けて後方へ転がってしまった。いらねえ１点だったよねえ。こういうのが後で響いてくると誰もが思っただろう。

その裏、中川の四球とフェルナンドのセンター前でノーアウトランナー１、３塁とチャンス。今度は相手のパスボールで１点追加。尚も阿部のヒットなどで１アウト１、３塁と追加点のチャンス。聖沢は浅い外野フライで３塁走者は帰れず。２番の山﨑にヒットを打ってもらうしかないのだけど、ベンチの采配は一塁走者を走らせて捕手が送球したらホームスチールをするディレードスチールを敢行。見破られて捕手の送球はピッチャーがカットして本塁送球。小山はあっさりアウトでチェンジ。いつぞや決まったからってここでやるような作戦じゃないよねえ。山﨑がヒット打つより確率が少ないんじゃないだろうか。

５回はヘルマンに２ベースを浴び、儀打二つで同点に追いつかれる。この語の楽天守備は中継ぎ投手が踏ん張って点をやらずに味方の得点を待つ以外に手はないという感じだった。

６回はサンチェスが粘って内角の速球を引っ張って左中間にはじき返し２ベース。ひさびさにみた勢いのある打球だったねえ。しかし後続の中川が三振、フェルも三振、代打後藤は敬遠で、阿部がショートゴロとサンチェスは２塁釘づけだよ。

その後、８回までは両チームの投手が踏ん張って９回表まではそれぞれ３人で抑えられる。

となると９回裏でサヨナラできる楽天は有利なのだけれど。
フェルナンド、ショートフライ…これは長打も期待できるからしかたない
小関、阿部、三振。これってもう９回で勝つ気ないよね？まだ下妻だっているし岩崎だっているんだから代わりの守備がいなくなるわけではない。なんでそのまま打たせたんだ。ランナーが出なかったからだろうか。

１０回裏
聖沢がピッチャー強襲の打球。必死に走ってヘッドスライディングでセーフ。うん、手をヨウダイカンみたいに怪我するからヘッドはやめたほうがいいね。ま、歩数が合わない時なんかはやるのかもしれないけど、でも諦めない気迫を感じた。
小斉が打てずに松井稼頭央は敬遠される、サンチェスで勝負ってことでサンチェスはプライドが傷ついただろうなあ。でもサンチェスはセカンドベース付近の惜しいセカンドゴロ。プライドなんて初めからなかったのかもね。

１１回　え？武藤続投かよ！と思いましたが、やっぱ加藤という思い切った起用はできないひとなんすねえ。棒玉のような真ん中ストレートを被弾して右中間スタンドへ。終わったと思いましたねえ。だって次の打順は中川、フェルナンド、小関だもん。先の二人がホームランでも打たないことにはね。
中川は三振。敗戦の気配が濃厚に。しかしフェルナンドは追い込まれてからファールで粘り右打ちにライト前にヒットを打ったので俄然盛り上がる。
代走の森山がこれまた警戒されているにもかかわらず余裕の盗塁でランナー２塁。ほんと、この人打てれば外野スタメンなんだけどねえ。そして代打牧田の思い切ってスイングした打球はピッチャーのグラブをはじいてセカンドへ。牧田は必至の全力疾走でオールセーフ。けっこう足が痛そうだったけど、こういう選手まで出さざるを得ないんだねえ。何にせよナイスファイト。

１アウト１、３塁で阿部。スクイズじゃね？と誰もが思っただろう。阿部も初めはスクイズのポーズを見せていた。これでやるかやらないかわかりずらくなったのに。打たせて三振。なんなのこれ？先日と違って３塁ランナー森山なのだ。空振りしたりファールじゃなければ、ほぼ同点は決定だよね。もし失敗しても２アウト１、２塁とチャンスは残るじゃない。どうして阿部がうてると思ったのかが不明。前回のサヨナラヒットもかろうじてだったしねえ。
次の聖沢は打って決めたかったのだろうけど執念で四球を選んだ。３失点目が中川と交差しそうになったとはいえ自分の落球だった悔しさもあったのかねえ。
そして満塁で打順が回ってきたのは山﨑。おいおいおい！
相手投手の前田はストライクが入らないから見ていくのはよい。下手に打ってチェンジになるよりは四球狙いでいいと思う。だから３－０から３－２まで見たのもよいだろう。でも前田はもう変化球でストライク取れなくなっており、投げるのはストレートとほぼ決まっていたはずだ。ストレートを待っていて高目のストレートを強く叩くことができずにショートゴロ。スイングスピードも腰の回転も例によって高校野球でもみないくらいの酷いレベルだったと思う。
しかし足立の判断ミスと、聖沢が全力で走っており果敢に滑り込んだことにより２塁はセーフ。相手のミスでかろうじて同点に追いついたのだった。これで流れは楽天に来て、もうおせおせムードだったように見受けられた。

１２回の表は続投の戸村があっという間に三者凡退。下妻くん、いいんじゃないでしょうか。

１２回の裏
松井四球。サンチェスは期待を裏切って高目のボールを引っ張って三遊間。中川は送りバントの姿勢。そうだよな、中川でも送って１アウト２、３塁にすれば限りなくサヨナラのチャンスは広がるよな。でも一回失敗。さっきも送りバント失敗してるのだ。
そこで理由はわからないけど強硬策。中川の勝負強さに賭けたのか？でもやっぱり変化球で攻められてセンターフライ。１アウト。
ここで、ああ、次はフェルナンドじゃなくて代走に出た森山なんだと。これってさあ、森山がヒット打つしかなかったのかね？１アウトなんだし、ランナーが２、３塁に進めばスクイズはできないけど下妻だって二軍で散々バッティングしてきてホームランだって打ってる、捕手としては強打者なんだからさあ、ほとんど打席に入ってない森山よりは可能性があったんじゃないの？
森山セーフティ気味バントであわよくばオールセーフとかさ。森山は足が速いからゲッツーが少ないとかいってたけどゴロの当たりにもよるじゃない。
ともかくT岡田にホームランで勝ち越しされた時点で「今日もかよ！けっ！」とか思ってしまったけど、１１回の聖沢の気迫を感じられたプレーが元で同点にまで追いつけたので少しは溜飲がさがったかな。

チャンスで打てない選手特集

小斉　それなりに良いヒットもあるし、今日はタイムリーも出た。でも１０回と１１回にサヨナラのチャンスでは打てない。そういうタイプの人なんだと思う。代打とか延長戦には向いてないよなあ。

阿部　今日のスクイズ成功は序盤の余裕がある時。終盤のスクイズは緊張して失敗するからベンチが取りやめさせたのかもしれないし、外目のストレートをあっさり三振では今後チャンスでの期待はしないことにした。

サンチェス　打点がかかる場面、特に試合が決まるようなシビレル場面ではファウルフライか三振が多い。そういう場面にはビビる性格なのかもしれない。

しかし、これだけ出せる選手がいなかったのにペーニャが出ないと言うのはそうとう酷いのだろうか。ベンチメンバーには登録されていたようだけど、ベンチに座ってる姿を見かけなかったんだけど。嶋が帰ってきても主砲なしってか？ははは。
