エースとはこれでなくては、という試合だったなあ。今は昔と違って分業制だから必ずしも完投が必須じゃないけれど。楽天の先発投手はけっこう悪くないと言われているけど全員が継投ありきのピッチャーばっかりだもんな。レイは６回、辛島は８回、塩見はよくて７回、とか首脳陣も初めから継投を考えているようだ。球数の問題もあるから最近はこうなのかもしんない。則本も以前は完投１４０球とかやてたけど、今日くらいなら続けていけそうな感じだよなあ。
昨日あれだけ悪口書いて、今日はペーニャ二打席連続ホームランで快勝したじゃねえか！と言われるかもしれないけど、いいんだもん。アタシがペーニャいらねえって言っても球団は使うだろうから、出る以上は打ってくれるに越したことはないもんね。でもなんたってまだ５本だし打点も14、得点圏打率も二割切ってるんだから、まだ全面支持するわけにはいかない。シーズン終了後に２０本打ってたならば、「アタシが間違ってました」と認めるけどね。きっとまたチャンスで打てなく４三振なんつう試合があるんじゃないかと思う。そもそも、これだけ打てないのを我慢して使うなら、サンチェスも我慢すればよかったのにとも思う。サンチェスの場合はファーストの守備もあるから使いづらいのかな。でも伊志嶺がいなくなってファーストが空いてるしねえ。中川が入ってるけどレフトは決め手となる選手がいないもんな。本当は西武みたいに長距離打者が３人は欲しいわけだから、どうせ我慢するなら中川、ペーニャ、サンチェス、と限定して我慢してほしいもんだよ。左の強打者がいないけれど、伊志嶺と枡田の復帰を待つしかないんだろうなあ。

さて今日は、ペーニャのソロから始まって、それだけでは終わらずに聖沢の内野安打から小関の送りバント、阿部のヒット、松井稼頭央の四球で満塁。牧田がしぶとくセンター前にタイムリー。この追加の２点が大きかったよなあ。
牧田はほんとに好調だ。一打席目もレフトへクリーンヒット。去年まではサードゴロ、ショートゴロが多かったのに、今年は抜けるのは打球が早いんだろうか。二番ということでエンドランとか送りバントとか好きに打たせてもらえない中でよくヒットを打っていると思う。和製大砲と言われてきたけど長打を狙わずにチームバッティングにした結果なのかもしれない。レフトの定位置を確保してほしいもんだ。どちらにしても松井稼頭央がフル出場ってことはないから一軍ベンチにはずっといることになると思うけど。

でも試合は4回以降、楽天の攻撃はあまりにもあっけなく淡白だった。則本の状態が良すぎて、もう４点でいいや、といった雰囲気だったのか？若松という若い投手にノーヒットなんだもん。結局、この一線級とは言えない投手に６イニングをペーニャのホームラン１本１安打に抑えられてる。これってけっこう深刻で勝ったとか喜んでるバーイじゃないよね？
なんとか塁に出ようとする意欲も感じられなかったし淡々と打ってるだけみたいな。則本も今まで調子よかったのに急に崩れることも多かったんだから４点じゃ安全圏じゃないことはベンチもわかってたはずなんだけどなあ。
特に阿部、聖沢、小関の７，８，９番はあまりにも見劣りする。聖沢はなんかオンナジだし、阿部も安打は出たけど流し打ちばっかりで非力な感じ。聖沢より福田の方が出塁するんじゃないかなあ。でも外野はファームでも島内は試合に出始めたけど全く調子上がってないみたいだし、岡島は故障なんだろうし、他に成績がよい選手はゼロ。松井、牧田、聖沢、福田、森山だけで回すしかなさそうだね。
明日からは四日間お休み。つまんねーな。
