草野大輔さんがいてくれたら

今日は雨で中止。ということは明後日のデーゲームまで試合がないということだから、福山、青山、松井は休めるということなんでしょう。昨日だってブルペンでは投げていたかもしれないし。でも雨で流れて移動日で一日空いて、先発はスライドなんすかね。もし相手が左だとすると。

1番　センター　福田　　昨日も初回のヒットは見事
2番　セカンド　藤田　　粘り強く三振が少ない
3番　サード　　銀次　　チャンスに強くなってきた
4番　指名　　　ペーニャ　　ヒット出てるしね
5番　ファースト　サンチェス　　そろそろ打てると思うけど
7番　ライト　　松井稼頭央　　ヒット出てるけどやや疲れてるから（牧田もあり）
8番　ショート　後藤　　　このあたりが下位の中心でいいのでは
9番　キャッチャー　嶋　　けっこう打ってきてる

しかしこのオーダーだとチャンスで代打、例えば桝田とか出す場面がないね。中川が最終回までまったく打てない時だろうか。投手は菊池かレイか。その後で辛島とか来るのかな。釜田はまだ早いのかしら。こうしてみると今年は速い回に炎上して試合壊したってのは戸村、森、美馬、くらいなのかなあ、則本も3～4点じゃ壊したとまでは言えないものなあ。やっぱ打線なんでしょうねえ。の

アタシは初めのウチ、楽天の選手は知らなかったけど、CSで戦った頃には、ほぼ覚えており、その中でも鉄平や草野が好きだった。だから星野体制で草野が不動のスタメンじゃなくなったことは何だか頭にもきていたのだった。特に2012年は開幕から腰痛かなんかで一軍登録されずにずっと二軍にいたと思う。二軍での成績をネットで見てはいたけれど、急に成績があがるわけでもなくヤキモキしていたものだ。それでもようやく夏頃に上がってきたので出場をとても楽しみにしていたものだ。
ところが、その試合、代打で出て内野ゴロエラーで一塁に駆け込んだところで足を故障。また一軍登録を抹消された。ちょっとなあ、と。もう守備の定位置も確定してないことだったから、トレードとか自由契約になるんでねえかと心配した。そして草野が一軍に戻ってきたのは9月12日。
満塁の場面で登場。レフトに引っ張った打球は微妙な距離。よく「フェンス手前で捕りました」とかアナウンスされるような当たり。祈りました。

最前列に入った。そのシーズンで球団初の満塁ホームラン。テレビの前で万歳して、すこし涙を流したもんです。これでもう一年、草野のプレイが見られる、と。でもあっさり自由契約でしたね。アンバサダーとかになってたけど。
ただ、翌年から地元テレビ局で深夜帯にイーグルスの試合解説を草野さんがユルークやっていて楽しみにしていた。中央の局では流さない地味なプレイや、駄目なプレイを解説、時にはファーム選手のインタビューなど、ファンにはうれしい番組だったけど今はもうやってないねえ。優勝したから辞めたのかもなあ。

というわけで、草野さんのような、ここ一番の代打も欲しいところだよね。
