首輪選手が目立つ件

いちいち誰だったか覚えていないけれど、なんだかヘンな輪っかを首に下げてプレーしている選手ってけっこう多いよね。ヒロインなんかではユニホームの外に出て首の下で揺れている。
あれなんなのかな？磁気ネックレスとかチタンなんとかというものらしい。ほとんどが○○テンとかいうメーカーのものらしいけど違うものもあるのだろう。これ、なんか見苦しくね？スポーツ用品として、、または健康用品として愛用されてるらしいけど科学的医学的に根拠なんて証明されてないでしょ？すくなくともメジャーや海外のトップスポーツ選手で試合中に着けてる人は見たことがない。（あったらすんません）スケートの羽生選手も演技の時はつけてないんじゃなかったかなあ。

いや、お守り的な意味合いなら否定はしないの。アタシだって貰った交通安全のお守りを車につけずに捨ててしまうかというと、効果がないのはわかっていてもとりあえず着けるからねえ。
健康的な意味合いならサプリメント飲むのと変わらないから体のために効果が確定されてないもでも取り入れていく姿勢があったとしても文句をつける筋合いはない。
でも真剣勝負で、こんな邪魔になる首輪を揺らして走ってたりすると、お前らバカなんじゃね？と思っちゃうのだ。日本人選手ばかり使っているから外国人選手は日本人は不思議なネックレスを信じ切っていると思っている事だろう。きっとダルビッシュとか田中とか、最高の実績を上げている人が使っているのを見て、オレもオレもと流行りだしたのだと思う。

でもいまやプロの選手となれば、科学的なトレーニングと分析を元にした技術、フォームの研究によって一流を目指しているものだと思う。そこに根拠ない疑似科学のような物品を盲信して大勢で群がるように試合中に装着しているってのが気持ち悪くてならないんだよねえ。素晴らしいプロのプレイは科学や医学を元にした繊細なトレーニングによって達成できるものであって、そこにマジナイや偽科学のようなものにわずかでも頼ろうとする甘さが気に入らないのである。

外国人がゴールドの細いチェーンの首飾りをユニフォームの中に着けており胸元から覗いたとしても、それは信仰からくるものだろうと思う。でも日本人選手はユニフォームの上にブランとぶら下げており、かなりの選手が色違いではあるけれど同じことをしている。

なんだかプロ野球選手は子供の頃から野球しかやってこなくてバカなんじゃないか、という説を信じたくもなってくる。これは勉強ができないというのではなく、先輩の進める理屈に合わない奇行を疑わずに盲信しちゃったりするようなバカさである。

そもそも、これ使っている人でも、どんどん試合に出られなくなって自由契約になってしまった人はいくらでもいるはずなのである。これではまったく効果があるなんて言えないことはみんな知っているはずであろう。

そんなわけでヒロインで受け答えしている時に、くるくると邪魔に揺れる首輪をしている選手を見ると、ああ、君もだったのか、とがっかりするというわけなのであるの。
