抑え候補には一応メジャーリーガーのシャーゴワを獲得。コントロールに難ありとのことだが、こればかりは日本で投げてみないとわからない。
どっちにしろ外国人は野手二名、投手二名が理想なのだから、ソン、ブセニッツ、シャーゴワの３人で回せばよいだけで誰かが不調で替えが効く体制は整っている。
やや心配なのは外国人野手。去年の何とかという選手は保険にもならなかった。従ってウィーラーが不調の場合得点力がかなり落ちたのが二位にもなれなかった原因であることは確か。
どこでもそうだが、ホームラン３０本打てる選手がスタメンに３人は必要。ブラッシュが来期も対応されて打てるかは不明だが、長打ヒッターが浅村、ブラッシュ、ウィーラーの３名では誰かが故障、不調になった途端に成績は下がるだろう。従ってメジャークラスの打者をもう一人獲得してもらいたいところだ。
だってソフトバンクなんかバレンティンが日本人枠だから柳田、デスパイネ、グラシアル、バレンティンと並べることができるのだ。選手も出たのは福田だけ。彼はロッテでは活躍するかもしれないが、ソフトバンクは痛くも痒くもないだろう。今年もソフトバンク一強は揺るぎそうもない。
ただ、楽天も引けを取らない打線を組めそうではある。
　例年言っているようにオープン戦は見るかもしれないが、その結果は絶対にあてにならない。せいぜい開幕一軍が誰なのか？程度を注目するつもりです。
