楽天　大久保監督を認めるか？

明日は雨で中止にならなければいいね。塩見だから期待はできるんじゃないだろうか。岡島が打てなくてブレーキになってる。結果が出ないと焦ってすぐに代えるデーブだから、また聖沢スタメンかな？二軍でやっとホームラン打ったようだから舛田を上げるのかも。舛田が入ると長打うてる人が増えるから打線が弱い今はいいかもしんない。

さて、試合がないといろいろと考えるもんだけど、自分はこの先、大久保監督を好きになるだろうか？と考える。もともと仙台に楽天イーグルスが誕生した時も、ふ～ん、といった想いだった。選手は近鉄の余り者的は人が多く（岩隈除く）、知らない人ばかりだったし。シーズンが始まっても、ご存知のように大敗を続け、見る気もしなかった。田尾監督もヒステリックにならないところは好感が持てたが、気の毒にな、という印象しかない。
野村監督でCS出場したあたりから熱心にテレビ中継を見るようになり球場にも何度か足を運んだ。やはり勝てるようになると面白いからだろう。

監督はゲームでの采配以前にどの選手を一軍に上げ、スタメンで使うか、というセレクトをするわけだけど、野村監督の時代は明らかに人材が不足していたから迷うことはなかったんではないか？とも思う。そいてファンも納得をしていたような。若手を起用して駄目でも「ま、経験ないしね」と思うし若手が活躍すれば「見る目がある」のように。ただ一年目からのファンにすれば生え抜きのベテランをあまり起用しなくなったので不満があったかもしれない。

星野監督は、なんか熱血だとかワシが育てただとか、古臭い根性論的な部分が好きではなかった。そして贔屓の選手を使わないことも気にくわなかった。高須、草野を外して舛田、銀次の二遊間なんてのも見てられなかった。結果論としては良かったんだけど。不調のせいもあったけど鉄平を控えにして二軍落ちのままチャンスを与えなかった。渡辺直人と内村と鉄平を放出した。
野村時代からのファンなら面白くなかったはずだと思う。でも実際は舛田も銀次も中心選手となったし、岩村は駄目だったけど松井稼頭央は大成功だった。結果を見れば、納得せざるを得ないんだもんね。

そして日本一になれば、やっぱり嬉しいから星野監督でよかったとも思えてくる。結果がよければ、どの監督も良い監督だと思えるようになるものだろうか？
つまり今年の楽天イーグルスが去年の最下位からCS出場くらいまで行けば、大久保監督好き！という気持ちになれるのかなあ？となんか疑問なのだ。

大久保監督の西武時代のいろいろや私生活の評判はどうでもいいとしよう。ただ、よくメジャーリーグ流だとか科学的、医学的見地に立ったトレーニングなのだとスポーツ紙で意外だと書かれてたりするけど、なんだか思い付きに過ぎず、実際は古臭い「ど根性主義」なんじゃないかと思ってしまう。二軍で柿澤選手を炎天下に意識不明までノック取らせたりしたし。釜田投手もあまりに投げさせたので手術になったとも言われている。
アタシと同世代だからデーブも「練習中は水を飲むな」とか言われた世代なんだろうけど、今は水分を取って涼しい時間に練習するのがプロなんじゃないのかねえ。

それと選手起用も、ころころ変わって本当は全然自信がないんじゃないかと思う。多分大丈夫だろうと思って出した手持ちのコマが、期待通りでないとすぐに不安になって新しいコマに代える。でも新しいコマが何もできないと、また不安になって元のコマに代える。この繰り返しなんだもんなあ。ファンが予想もしないような選手を二軍から抜擢して大活躍でもするんなら手腕を認めてもいいんだけど。
やっぱり選手は好きだから9月になっても緊張してゲームを観戦したいけど、デーブ監督は好きにはならないな。うん。
