ルールすら知らない塩川は追放しろ

野球選手はそれが仕事なんだから競技ルールはすべて知っていて当たりまえ。一般の人だって自分が働いている業種のルールや決まりごとは全部暗記しているはずだ。
そして、選手より詳しくルールを覚えていなければいないのがコーチを含む首脳陣。よく代打や代走をたくさん出して誰をどこに入れるかわからなくなってヘッドコーチに聞いている監督もいるが、そういう人は大概バカである。六法全書並みの量と難しさじゃないんですぜ？審判がほぼ暗記している程度のものを覚えられないなら指導者になるなっての。

で、今回は京セラドームのローカルルール。本来は選手もローカルルールは覚えておくべき。「俺は天井まで打球が届かないから」という選手も自分がランナーだった場合にボールがデッドなのかどうかわからなければ動けないからだ。
しかし、最もローカルルールに詳しくなければいけないのはグラウンドで直接選手に指示をする一塁コーチャーと三塁コーチャーではないか？

ロメロが大飛球打った時は誰もがどうなるのかわからなかったはずだ。落ちてきたボールを半信半疑でゆっくりとサードへ返球したレフトも「どうなんの？」という感じだった。しかしタッチされたロメロにアウトコールをしたのだから審判だけは知っていたという事になる。もし、審判の一人がホームランと判定して腕を回していたら問題になったがＴＶで見る限り誰もしてなかったし、もし回していたら誤審としてもっと協議に時間がかかっただろう。

何を言いたいのかというと、塩川コーチはルールを知らずにホームランだと勝手に勘違いして審判にも確認せず、余裕で立ったままロメロに拍手を送っていたのである。つまりロメロは？だったけど塩川コーチの祝福拍手を見てホームランだと思ってゆっくり走塁したということである。ローカルルールだから仕方ないとは言えない。メジャーじゃないんだから覚えるローカルルール五か所だけだよ？しかも、ほとんどがドームか特殊なフェンスのある球場で内容もそんなに長いわけじゃない。グラウンドで選手に指示する立場の者がルールしりませんってどういうことだ。仮に塩川にはホームランゾーンに飛んだように見えたとしても審判がホームランコールを終えるまではインプレーの可能性を考えてロメロに全力で走れ、とかセカンドで止まれと指示するべきでしょう？それを笑って拍手しているんだ。こんな無能なコーチは何の役に立つの？
そして銀次が相変わらずのゲッツー性ファーストゴロを打ち、送球がロメロの腕に当たって後ろにそれた際の島内ＧＯ指示。すぐ後ろにセンターがカバーで入っていたの見えてないわけないだろうに島内を走らせた。島内としてはクロスプレイかも？とは思っていたようだが、かなり前で捕手がボールをもって待ち構えていたので驚いて一瞬動きが止まったのではないか？

別に彼をクビにしろといっているわけではない。ファンに人事権があるわけじゃないし。どうせ毎日コーチを一人ベンチから外す必要があるなら、試合前の練習だけコーチ業をやらせてベンチにはいれなければいいのである。外野出身で一時は外野守備走塁コーチだった鉄平をサードコーチャーにすればいいだけの話。
明日から田中を猛打賞できるようにしよう、とかの無理難題ではなくて決めればすぐにでもできる事。
サッカーですらコーチ、監督になるには名選手でも講座を受けて試験にパスしなければないはず。まあ、野球界には激しく頭が悪い人もいるが、ルールをしらない人を指導者にしないためにもそういった決まりごとは必要だと思うけどねえ。


さて、今日の試合。覚悟はしていたけど山岡相手で今の打線じゃねえ。１点取るのも大変そうなところ初回先頭バッターの小深田が３ベースヒット。これはもう１点でしょう？
しかし鈴木は最近打てなくなってきている。送っても浅村は三振の可能性。普通に考えれば前進守備でもなかったしランナーは小深田なんだからセイフティスクイズでよかったんじゃないか。三木監督は昨日までの作戦で選手が悉く失敗したので、もうサインを出すのを諦めたのか？ただ打たせて鈴木はアウト。浅村は塁に出たがここでも無策でだた打たせてゲッツー。
これだけ打てない選手がそろっている時こそ細かい作戦と戦略が必要なんだけどなあ。いつかだれかがうってくれるだろう、と待つだけなら猫でもできる。

結局、浅村、島内という打てる選手が打って先制。そして伏兵すでに死に体だった辰巳が左投手の速球を力強く振りぬいてバックスクリーンへの特大３ランで決まり。ただ、この人は明日からまたセカンドゴロの男にもどるのでしょうねえ。
一方田中はここ６試合１７打数０安打、８三振と最早一軍にいてはいけないレベル。辰巳だって９月打率は154.なのだ。つまり、この二人でライト、センターでは打てない二人が揃う。なので守備には不安のある小郷センター、ライトロメロしかないという苦しさ。浅村をＤＨにすることで多分打撃では藤田より期待されている黒川を出せるオーダーだということだんだろう。

茂木の離脱で空いたファーストには銀次が入っているが、４５打席で７本しか打っていないうえ、得点圏打率は133.。何の役にも立っていない。守備にも精彩がないし、せいぜい野手からの魔送球を上手くキャッチする程度だろうか。これって内川でさえ二軍なんだから他チームじゃ一軍で出してもらえないレベルじゃないのかしら？何年か前にも不振で降格、調整後に帳尻を合わせた年もあったように思うが、今年も早い段階で調整すればよかったのにと思うのです。
